Although I’m not one to review restaurants, this place deserved a proper review for their excellent food and atmosphere. Upon entering, you feel right at home with the comfortable setting and warm welcomes. After ordering and receiving your food in a very timely manner, you can really taste the difference in their authentic Italian, homemade dishes. However, before you fill yourself up on the delicious entrees, make sure you save room for dessert (especially their homemade cheesecake)! All in all this was a great experience with great service and great food. Therefore, if I ever find myself in Mt. Olive, North Carolina again (pickle capitol of the world), I will definitely be back!

Nice restaurant. Servers and management were very friendly. The menu selection was diverse: you could eat here frequently and not get burned out. The salad with dinner was good: mixed greens, tomato, cheese, and pepperoni with choice of dressing. Bread came out warm and served with butter packets. I ordered the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. The serving was large, and the shrimp and sauce both plentiful. The sauce had a pretty good flavor, but needed a little salt. My only real complaint is that the sauce was really thin. A good sauce should be thick enough to really stick to the pasta. This sauce was more or less guaranteed to end up on your shirt.

The place is amazing. The owner is sweet, I sold her he business. The food is still the same and exceptional for Mount Olive. You can’t expect much here but it’s the only good place to get a good meal. I see negative comments but I know they are far fetch from the truth. I will say, when you order something you agree to a contract. I’d go out to say if they made a mistake, they’d fix it. If you order something and don’t like it, oh well, pay for it and don’t come back! To make ugly Reviews is pathetic. If you want respect, give it!

Unbelievable, I ordered spaghetti with Italian sausage. It came with a house salad which was very good, but was piled high on a too small plate that was unable to hold the contents, and a good loaf of hot Italian bread. Unfortunately that was the highlight of the meal.

We ate here after traveling to meet family. They came highly recommended by the locals & we weren’t disappointed. I had the Grilled Chicken Caeser Salad, it’s my go-to on hot days. Huge salad; fresh romaine lettuce; moist, well seasoned chicken; dressing is made in-house; can you tell I loved it?! My family had a range of dishes from steak to the Tour of Italy. Everything was fresh & delicious. We got to meet the owner, who was very personable, as well as our waitress. I think I might have to drive the two hours to eat there again!

We went in to have lunch, the place was not busy but it took almost an hour to get 2 hamburgers. The burgers were nothing to write home about. The waitress did a good, but the manager/cashier was not very nice. My friend never touched his plate and rather then try to compensate him, she threatened to call the police if he did not pay for his meal (that he never touched). Not good business practice in my personal opinion. I will not go back, nor will I recommend this restaurant. If they had apologized or tried to compensate in anyway I would have gone back and given them another chance. Treat people rude and they won’t come back!

Over an hour wait for the food. Totally not worth it. Sauce had burnt taste and pasta was undercooked. Couldn’t even eat my eggplant bc after waiting that long my kiddos became fussy so I had to take them to the car. My husbands food came out 20 mins after mine. Manager was completely unprofessional and never apologized or offered to compensate to make the situation right. If I could rate this negative stars, I definitely would. Save yourself some money and grab McDonald’s from out front.

I have no idea why these other folks had such a bad experience each and every time I part the door at Nino’s there is always a smiling face and someone ready and willing to help with your selections of a wide variety of Italian foods. I recommend the pizzas, and chicken and peas ( my favorite )! The sauces for all our foods are made fresh daily and homemade from our house recipes. So come on out and taste a little of Italy in little old Mount Olive.

One of my favorite Italian food is Manicotti (pasta). Usually, it cost no more than 8.00$ served with a side salad and one topping. Manicotti in this restaurant costs 12 bucks!!!! and the portion is very small. Manicotti does not contain meet. I do not know where did they get this price. It is really frustrating….

Was not happy with the dry ($9.50) burger that came after a 40 minute wait. Did not eat a single bite and sent the burger back. Upon check out the lady told me that I would pay for the burger or she wold call the police. My response was to go ahead. Against my wishes my friend paid to avoid a conflict. Never again set foot back there.
