This was my first—and likely last—visit to this restaurant. The space felt neglected and cluttered, which affected my first impression. The pizza itself tasted like it may have been frozen or made with lower-quality ingredients, and the deep dish was especially disappointing. I grew up in a family that loves pizza, and a relative owns a Nancy’s Pizzeria, so I’m familiar with what fresh, well-made pizza should taste like. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t meet those standards.

So on Christmas Eve my wife messages me and said if I wanted Ninos Pizza call and have it ready for 6 p.m. I called them and asked how long they were open for. The young lady on the phone said they were open till 10 p.m. I ordered their party pizza for 6 p.m. We now live in Grant Park IL in Kankakee County. I use to work in Oak Lawn and was injured in 2009 and had to retire. The pizza was amazing and brought back so many memories of having pizza with the people I worked with. Would give 10 stars Ninos but the limit was 5.

I am going to miss this place. I grew up in Richton Park and we all went to this location. It brings up so many great memories. The food here is so so good. Love the pizza. I was going to come here yesterday, then I found out is closing its doors. I am ordering 2 pizzas and I’ll freeze one of them. They will be missed by many people. Such a wonderful place! The pizza was extremely delicious, I live about 40 minutes away, but will be going back.

DONT DO IT! Sent me a RAW dough 43 dollar deep dish pizza that was LATE….. asked for a Jumbo replacement sent me a 25$ replacement and then Called me a LIAR when I called to complain. If you want salmonella order this pizza. THE WORST!!!

We’ve been here many times before,but all before the pandemic. This was our first time visiting since they opened back up and there has been major changes to the menu. They no longer carry appetizers just pizza and I think only pizza. We really liked the pan pizza that was definitely a four star,the thin crust Nino’s was also pretty good. All in all the pizza was good and the atmosphere ok. The only thing that is very off putting is the awful sewage smell emanating from the bathroom. I mean it was atrocious, the bathroom wasn’t even dirty,but if it was you wouldn’t even be able to tell because your sense of smell would have already been invaded by the noxious and toxic scent of fresh sewage. Seriously, they need to fix that.

Our waitress was Cathy, she was amazing. Our beer and sangria was delightful as was she. Made us feel welcome and comfortable the whole time. I had the Chicago deep dish pizza and my husband had the thin crust pizza and it was amazing. Please try their deep dish, it was awesome! Our appetizer was the sampler, and it was good as well. We’ve had Nino’s regularly over the years. Before Covid, we would go in to dine if we felt like hanging out in an old school pizza place, but now we just do take out since the hours are limited. Tonight’s pizza was delicious. It’s usually good, but today it was outstanding. 5 stars.
