Ninja Japan Teriyaki & Sushi is amazing value — you can get a huge portion of chicken and rice for around $11–$12, and it tastes fantastic. The meals are solid, filling, and consistently good, and the sushi is surprisingly good for the price. Honestly, it’s just a place that does everything right, great food, great portions, great value. Highly recommend if you want a reliable, satisfying meal.

Ordered delivery via Seamless, the food arrived hot and the amount was overflowing in the boxes. Definitely surprised us. Ask for extra teriyaki sauce because it makes it taste so good. The shumai was delicious. I think it would be better to either eat there and order for pick up because my only issue was the fees on the app. Definitely recommend this place and would be ordering more in the future and also telling friends and family to check them out

Ordered takeout. Simple menu, with rolls averaging about $5/roll which is a steal in this day and age. The sushi itself was good, with an appropriate rice:fish ratio. The chicken teriyaki (tender dark meat!) was delicious and the portion was huge.

We ordered a large meal through Uber Eats. Partway through eating, my fiancé bit into an eel roll and had to spit out a metal staple that was lodged inside. Thankfully he didn’t swallow it, but this is extremely concerning and a serious safety issue. Finding foreign objects in food is unacceptable. We won’t be ordering again.

I gave this 5 stars comparing apples to apples: this restaurant with other restaurants of this type.
So this is a nice variation on the Chinese takeout place…It’s not Chinese and it has restaurant-type seating.
In another pleasant wrinkle, you create your meal when You order: starting with a base entree and adding vegetables of your liking etc.
This is an efficiently run “quick cook” restaurant. I say Quick Cook, because this isn’t fast food – with all the baggage that term has come to acquire (poor quality, unhealthy, etc).
Both the place in the food are clean. The staff is friendly and they cook the food in full view of the customer snd do so in literally minutes…. like 5 minutes and its on your table or in your hands.
I got beef teriyaki over fried rice with mushrooms only.
The portion is impressive, weighing at least 3 lbs. They are generous with the meat and it is quality meat. No gristle or excessive fat as is common in some low end places. And the taste is outstanding.
And all that for a very reasonable price. I paid a mere $10.75 for my entree.
I actually walked 14 blocks in the rain for this meal (7 each way – so I wouldn’t lose a prime parking place,) but it is absolutely worth it.
In my opinion, this is the best thing going on Jamaica Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard.
I’ll be back.

I’ve been here 8 times since the last review. And every time it’s excellent. I recently got the chicken teriyaki. The chicken portion is downright impressive. There’s gotta be a pound of chicken on here. And it’s all cooked to perfection. Not overdone not crispy just tenderly browned and exquisitely flavoured.
In the Marine Corps we have a word to describe something that’s far and above the norm. That word is outstanding.
Well ninja Japan teriyaki sushi is that.

They have a great variety, I love their chicken bento box it is always good and it will fill you up, good enough for 2 people. Their dragon roll and gyoza are good. Their service is quick and always on point. The guy on the register are always friendly. Is not expensive they have decent prices. Overall good service and food
