Not even being dramatic this was top 3 meal of my LIFE. Cannot stop thinking about how good each bite was – absolute perfection. Tuna crudo and brassicas salad with persimmon jam was life changing for real !!!

Food was pretty good, although kind of standard brunch, but we could taste some differences in terms of paying attention to the details. Too bad, only breakfast menu was available

The restaurant had a sophisticated interior with a stylish, upscale atmosphere—perfect for a nice night out. The ambiance had a great start-of-the-night vibe, making it an enjoyable dining experience.

The fish dish was incredibly fresh and flavorful, which made it a standout. The steak was also well-prepared and satisfying. Overall, a great spot for both seafood and steak lovers. Would definitely recommend!

I had an incredible experience at Nine Ten Restaurant tonight! We indulged in the tasting menu, and every dish was absolutely delicious. Our server, Jose, was fantastic—super attentive and friendly. He made sure we had everything we needed and provided great insights about each course. The whole team was on point, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Michelin Guide recognized restaurant located inside the Grande Colonial Hotel. Had a reservation for five on a Sunday for brunch and were seated immediately. It’s $10 for valet parking when you dine at the restaurant, and you need to show your restaurant receipt when picking up the car. We ordered the octopus, sourdough bread, a pecan sticky bun, and tuna crudo for starters. The octopus came with potatoes and a cheese sauce that was tasty. The tuna crudo came in 6 pieces and I liked the citrusy dressing. The pecan sticky bun was a sleeper hit (the candied pecans were particularly good); I only wish that the coffee machine was working so we could’ve had a latte on the side to accompany it. My entree, I had the huevos rancheros. It was quite filling and I took half home for leftovers. We rounded out the meal with the half baked chocolate cake, which had the consistency of a molten lava cake soaked in ice cream – definitely split this with other people. Our waitress was very nice and the vibes were chill.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in San Diego. I am a local and I have tried a lot of different restaurants. This place has amazing food, the source fresh local ingredients every morning. They create new menus frequently and Matt is an extremely talented chef. I recommend this restaurant 100%!

This is not a typical restaurant connected to a hotel! Do not skip it and assume it’s a basic spot to eat. This award winning restaurant is so good, we ate here five times on our trip – which we never do.

Everything is made in house – from the pastrami to the Cacio E Pepe spaghettini. The flavors here were so familiar, but you could tell they were made with love and thoughtfulness. The most amazing thing we ate all week was the short rib toast with mornay sauce! You can only get it on weekends and only at brunch. The short rib is so good, we were hoping it would be on the dinner menu – but that’s how much care they put into their menu- they are making short rib from scratch – just for weekend brunch. If you are a savory fan, this is one of the best things served on Prospect Street. Second savory delight would be the jerk pork belly – flavors you rarely taste together, but oh so good!

The service was also top notch – Alex, Pablo and Shelly took very good care of us and always had great recommendations for each meal.

You can sit inside, on the busy Prospect St. patio, or on the back patio, with partial ocean views. There is street parking around the area and $10 valet for the restaurant. Please take care of the valet guys too – they deliver old school service, which is so hard to find these days.

This is a classical style restaurant that does seemingly simple food with great style and exceptional flavor. I had the tuna crudo as a starter and the cod as my main. Both had exceptional balance of a kind that as a European (sorry!) I sometimes found difficult to come by on my trips to the US. But this place can compete with the best of them. The service was immaculate. It was all a pleasant surprise. Happy to come back anytime!
