Nice hole in the wall Mexican joint. Decent portion size. Only 1 waiter, and they were oddly specific about small parties not sitting at the bigger table (even though no large party came while we were dining) food was good. Chips were ok.

Always the best food and the chips and salsa are amazing! Definitely get the enchiladas with the green sauce. So good. You won’t be disappointed. Fun environment with super friendly and far service. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’ve tried all of the other local places and this is by far the best Mexican food in the area. I’ve only had better in New Mexico.

I ordered food on accident to the other location; I didn’t realize this at the time. When I went in to pick up my food they said oh you probably ordered at the other location. I called that location and asked to cancel that order as it would have made my trip an hour (round trip) they said you could cancel but that they were in the process of making the food. I said I cant cause of said trip and that I mean to order at the other location and would like to. At which point the hung up abruptly. I went inside to which the store in battle creek called the one in augusta to bar me from ordering. I was told I can’t order since I had an order in progress. What amazing service!!!! I could have conceivably had the other person in my car go in and order, but I did (what I thought was right) and cancelled so I could order to the restaurant I mean to.
Needless to say, I will never go to this establishment, happy they didn’t have my card information because I’d expect some charges on cancelled orders. Don’t go there mistake number one.

Food is decent, I don’t recommend the fish tacos, they aren’t done traditional but the staff was kind and friendly and the restaurant is cute. Kind of high prices.

The food is always great and the servers are quick. Never had a bad experience. The chips and guac are so good! I get the fajitas. Also you the fried ice cream last time. Check it out if you haven’t already. Also don’t forget to tip the cooks.

Authentic local Mexican restaurant with great homemade salsa and hot sauce. Best Mexican food in the area… only downside is no liquor license, so no margaritas with your meal. However, the Battle Creek location DOES have a liquor license, and a larger dining room, so if thats your speed it’s not too far away.

Small maintenance needed especially cracked table tops and splitting chair. Not much attention given to our table ex.. refills/how’s the food. Would like to see the basic cheese switched to queso Blanco to really match the complimentary dishes versus the local Tex Mex style in the enchiladas and burrito but if that’s the goal, on point so far. Pricing and portions, for entrees, are a value worth noting. Rich flavor, rice and beans were delicious. Meals before tax were 10$ (+/- ~5). Definitely coming back.

Really miss their restaurant in Battle Creek so I made a special stop to enjoy it again. The salsa and chips are exactly the way I remember and the atmosphere the same. Small but still excellent dining.

This family restaurant offers unique decors and tasty food. The grilled Chile relleno was very good but you only get one for a dinner price. The burrito with shredded beef was also very good. They have been in a small town for 20 years for a reason.

I found this place about a week ago. I got a takeout menu and decided to get lunch from here on Thursday. Staff were nice and professional when I came in. Being my first time, I didn’t want to go over the top, so I ordered the Burrito Norteno. It was delicious!
Another reason I give it five stars is their variety and their foods in general. I’ve never seen a place where you can get a beef tongue burrito, for example. I will definitely return here soon!
