I had high hopes for Niko, especially since it’s a newer restaurant that always seems busy and stays open late. The space itself is attractive and well laid out, with a nice interior, two bars (one main bar and a smaller one), seating on a second indoor level, and an outdoor patio. Free street parking is also a plus.

Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. The flatbread pizza was doughy with very few toppings. The chicken gyro was even more disappointing. The chicken tasted like dry, pre-cooked, unseasoned meat, and it was mixed with unseasoned fries and vegetables inside the wrap. The gyro itself was massive and nearly impossible to eat—everything fell apart, and the only tzatziki sauce was slathered on the outside. There was none inside, which left the entire wrap flavorless while making a mess at the same time.

Food prices are on the high side for the quality. Beer prices are reasonable, while cocktails range from average to expensive. On a positive note, the service was good and attentive.

Overall, I really wanted to like this place, but the food didn’t live up to the atmosphere. With better execution in the kitchen, Niko could be much better.

The place was packed by 6:30! That’s definitely a good sign on a wintery Friday night when the temperature is in single digits.

Our waitress, Laura, was friendly, attentive, and professional, asking us if it were okay if the tartar sauce I requested for the calamari we asked to take home cost an additional $2. The calamari appetizer was quite plentiful, and my husband and I couldn’t finish it, but had run out of the tartar sauce. That was the proper thing to do, and she was spot on in doing so.

My husband enjoyed his Moussaka, and the side of spinach was simple, yet flavorful. I was disappointed though with my baked lamb dish. I knew it wasn’t a shank, which I would have preferred – Laura, the waitress had informed me of that when I asked – but I thought I’d try it anyway. The chunks of lamb were well seasoned, but not as tender as I would have expected. The accompanying rice was in three words: simply not good. It had the tint of tomato or “something red,” but was basically flavorless. The string beans, however, I found delicious. They weren’t snappy as they usually are in restaurants, barely cooked; it seemed as if they’d been simmered in a sauce, perhaps with the lamb – I don’t know, but they were really good! This dish is certainly not worth $36 though. I don’t quibble about menu prices when the dish is all it should be; however, this one was a letdown.

My husband ordered the carrot cake, which was huge, but a bit dense. The texture reminded us of a Christmas fruit cake.

It’s nice to have a Greek restaurant in Easton, and the location, the former La Cucina, is perfect for it.

So good!!! Loved the old Nikos too 🙂 the food and drinks are just incredible. Such a good spot! love the baklava martini, blood orange and rosemary martini, the maze plate, and MOSTLY the eggplant dish. You NEED to stop here if you’re craving Greek food.

I had really high hopes for Niko. I was hoping for fresh, delicious homestyle Greek food and got a mediocre dining experience. My server was VERY nice – kind, attentive and personable.

The atmosphere is elegant, moody and rich, although when it was the previous Italian restaurant, it looked virtually the same – nothing outside of a few pictures seems to have changed decor wise. Music was modern pop hits which felt very out of place in a nice restaurant. The fireplace, as it was before in the previous restaurant, is still a very nice touch.

The food however, was dissapointing.
Our $18 Fried Calamari looked (and tasted) like something you’d get if Denny’s or Friendly’s offered seafood. It was thickly battered “calamari” without a single tentacle. The breading was soggy and fell right off when trying to pick them up. Why Augula was added, only to introduce condensation and moisture to ruin any hint of crisp — I am not sure, but they should skip the greens here. They did take the information regarding the dish with grace and removed it from my bill without me asking at all, which is appreciated – I just wish the dish was better. 1/10

My $36 Baked Lamb was certainly baked, I just wish it came out of the oven tender instead of dry and overcooked. It lacked moisture and several pieces were not fork tender. The rice was dry and bland, BUT the Greek style Green Beans were delicious, thankfully. 3/10

My partner got the $36 Seafood Cioppino which was actually quite good. Delicious fresh seafood, thick white toasted bread and delicious parpadalle pasta that tasted fresh. The only slight dissapointment of a lot of sand / grit on the mussels – they need to be washed better. 7/10

Lastly they gave us a slice of Chocolate cake on the house. While it technically IS chocolate cake, I wouldn’t say it was great. And honestly tasted like Sodexho or Cysco. It was hard, cold, dense and somewhat dry. It was chocolate but we still didn’t finish it. 4/10

I am dissapointed. NOT because the experience was terrible. It wasn’t, it was just ADEQUATE, which if I’m spending more than $50 per person I expect it to be GOOD or BETTER. I was SO EXCITED for a new Greek restaurant and we got a warmed over Italian Steakhouse with a little Greek here and there. 75% of the menu is not Greek food. I do believe they have potential, perhaps they’ll take a hard look at what is being served for the money – check back after a few months pass and they get kinks worked out. Until then, there are better alternatives.

We finally checked out the new Nikos location in Easton! We had been putting it off since it’s about 30 minutes away from us now… but let me tell you, it was absolutely worth the drive. It exceeded all of our expectations.
We’re very bougie martini drinkers…and Billy, our bartender, completely delivered. It was like he dropped the mic each time that he came with the next rounds We asked for raspberry lemon drop martinis, and he took his time crafting them … and somehow made them 10x better than we could have imagined. Perfect balance, perfect presentation, just top tier.
Beyond the drinks, Billy was amazing! patient, welcoming, and gave us great conversation the entire time. He truly elevated the whole experience.

The food was just as impressive, and the new location is absolutely stunning. We’re already looking forward to going back.
Thank you, Billy, for such an incredible experience! ✨

First time here will definitely be back! Sat at the back bar closest to the door, bartender was great and drinks were delicious. Bread with olive oil was served before the meal, I got the Gyro bowl with steak tips it was so yummy and had great portions of everything. My boyfriend got the prime sandwich and gave it a 10/10. Finished off with a bread pudding for desert which was also fantastic. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

New Restaurant Alert. Different menu than yhe West Bridgewater location. The space and ambience is phenomenal and staff was amazing. Will definitely be back. They start reservations on Monday i was told. I suspect this place will be very busy so id recommend a reservation unless you go off hours.

Cozy, extravagant, delicious, very worth the price. Wife, teenage daughter, and I had spinach and artichoke dip (so cheesy and tasty), chicken kabob, lamb gyro, and cheese pizza. Everything came out amazing, and we are excited to go back! The staff were excellent, attentive, and helpful. Thank you!
