I’ve visited this restaurant multiple times and usually find the food decent. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing due to the portion size. The expectation (menu)/ previous portions compared to the actual portion served today was half of the size. When we asked the manager, we were told this was the usual portion and very normal. Hope the restaurant can be more consistent and transparent with the portions.

The realest to the real one! My friend suggested this restaurant for my birthday and we were greatly suprised by the quality and taste of the food. My friends, who enjoy Japanese food, really believe that the food is as authentic as it can get and if that doesn’t convince you, you could reserve those private dining rooms and sit on tatami mats and eat, like the real thing!!

Honestly the pricing is really high but it really managed to peak our interest a lot. Heads up, the restaurant is constantly reserved for dinner time so make sure to make an early reservation.

Having lunch at Nihon Kai, a long-standing Japanese restaurant with cozy vibes and fresh, tasty food.Tried the Ten Cha Soba with Tempura — light but satisfying. The tempura was crispy, and the cold soba hit the spot.Great portions, fair prices. Perfect for a casual meal!

Hidden behind the main road, this hidden Japanese cuisine serve nice Japanese Cuisine. But according to a frequent visitor, the price has gone up.

Despite that the food were nice, ordered their bento set and additional agedashi tofu.

Overall food quality was nice, unique scenery facing a hill with residential area.

They don’t accept TouchNGo as the time posting this.

Big portion of food and taste pretty good, value for money. However I think this shop needs a facelift.

A regular restaurant that we visited ever so often throughout the last 6-7 years. We like the foods (especially salmon butteryaki and salmon shioyaki), and services here. We are okay with the restaurant interior not being upgraded or revamped or refurbished over time. Kindly refer to the photos’ captions for more comments.

Service was very fast, courteous and polite.
The restaurant is so popular that it’s very packed. Thank goodness we arrived at 550pm, because when we left at 645pm, there was a long queue waiting outside the restaurant. Due to its popularity, the owners packed in the maximum number of tables in the restaurant. There is less than six inches in between the tables.
We ordered a lot of food. We enjoyed the garlic rice, sushi platter, seafood in vinegar, soft shell maki, salmon skinand ramen.
But not so much the jap porridge, rice in tea soup and udon.
Black sesame and green tea ice cream was a great end.
Prices are reasonable which is its main attractiveness.
