Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick review after stopping by Night Train Pizza. While I didn’t actually have the pizza this time, the wings I ordered were absolutely fantastic—seriously crispy and packed with flavor. They are definitely not just an afterthought on the menu and come highly recommended!
The whole experience went from good to great thanks to Carrie, the bartender. She was professional, friendly, and truly knew her stuff. I really appreciated that she took the time to make some smart drink recommendations that perfectly matched the wings. That kind of personalized, knowledgeable service is what makes a place stand out.
If you’re visiting, definitely pull up a seat at the bar. For top-notch comfort food and service that goes the extra mile, Night Train Pizza is a solid five-star spot. I’ll be back to try the actual pizza next time!

This place is not good. It probably has good ratings only because its the only option close by to Big Canoe that isn’t as pricey as the other super close restaurants. Regardless, pizzas are small for the price here. Food is NOT good – if you’ve ever had decent pizza, you’d know this. And service is beyond slow. I’ve been there twice. First time, my mom’s salad had a bug in it and they didnt even take the plate immediately when she asked for assistance. Second time, my husband got a pizza that still had raw dough on bottom and it just wasn’t good. And he got a sub. his Italian sub was more bread than meat. And it had horseradish? Didn’t really work.
All that to say, the people there are mostly friendly. But I’m afraid this restaurant is for the retirees living in the mountain that probably dont have the best palates/standards due to not wanting to drive that far for decent food.
Is this place horrendous? No. But is it good? NO. it’s not worth the money. Overcharges, undelivers, takes too long. Nice staff. That’s it. Also, I’m not an old Karen boomer writing this whole gets off in hating for no reason. This place just really sucks. Inflated google rating for sure. 3.0 at best but it has SO much potential! Hope they improve service. But I probably won’t ever try them again to find out.

What a lovely little restaurant! Came in for lunch and had a wonderful meal – the food came out piping hot and quickly, and the taste was incredible! Highly suggest the chicken Caesar wrap with fries, the seasoning on the fries was fantastic! If you’re in Big Canoe, I’d suggest for lunch, it was quiet and quick 🙂

Stopped in on a whim and ended up finding my new favorite bar. The vibe is relaxed but lively, and the pizza is *way* better than you’d expect from a bar — perfectly crisp crust and loaded with flavor. Carrie, the bartender, really made the experience. She’s friendly, attentive, and knows her stuff behind the bar — she even recommended a cocktail that paired perfectly with my slice. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, which makes the whole place feel welcoming.

To start with, the pizza is really good, and they have great wines that are affordable by the glass. The wings and salads are also very good. BUT EVEN BETTER is the service and the people who work there. Even when it gets busy they pay attention. VERY happy to know this place!

On vacation from the Augusta GA area, decided to try this spot for pizza. They really got this thin crust figured out. Probably some of the best thin crust pizza I have had in a very long time. We ate cheese pizza here twice during our week long stay.
