Nan Xiang was one of our stops, after getting boba from next door. We saw someone at the front making the dumplings by hand, but didn’t think much of it. Later, from the quality of the dishes we got, it made sense— everything we got tasted super fresh! We got the pork potstickers and the chicken soup dumplings. The potstickers (6 per order) were the perfect blend of crunchy and soft, and were so unique and well-seasoned. The chicken soup dumplings (6 per order) were also on par and piping hot. Definitely a great spot!

These are probably the best soup dumplings in this area. The xiaolongbao have savory soup in them, up to my expectations, and the pan-fried baozi are respectable as well. They were quite fast getting the food out but also it was not busy. The fried porkchop makes a good side. The stir-fry noodles and braised noodles are the weakest entries. Funnily enough, the next-door bubble tea and KPOT restaurants are owned by the same owners.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Their handmade xiaolongbao are incredible—thin skins, juicy fillings, and just the right amount of steam. The beef noodle soup is comforting too, with tender beef and flavorful broth. And don’t miss the spicy wonton—the red oil peanut sauce is spicy but addictive. Will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our first visit to Nan Xiang Express, a cute, modern Chinese dumpling house next to Macy’s at the Montgomery Mall. My date had the Summer Special Combo consisting of home-made Pork Soup Dumplings, fresh crisp Cucumber Salad With Garlic Vinaigrette and a sweet Passion Fruit & Lime Green Tea. I ordered the Wontons In Spicy Peanut Sauce and delicious Shrimp & Cheese Pot Stickers. The portions are larger than they appear on the menu photos, so our above selections were quite filling. We would recommend all of these and there are plenty more interesting dishes on their menu for us to try next time. It’s also exciting that this place is physically connected to a Bubble Tea Shop and a Hot Pot & Korean BBQ house which we also look forward to trying.

Food was piping hot. Condensed menu for their Express concept. Food was served to our table. Fairly spacious for a small footprint – tables and seats as pictured. Overall good experience and happy there’s a closer location to me!

I stopped in for lunch and was very impressed! I ordered the vegetable soup with a taro milk swirl (from the shop next door) — huge portion, flavorful, and fresh. My partner had dumplings and chicken with broccoli, both tasting so clean and well-prepared.
The space is spotless, bright, and spacious with plenty of parking. You can dine in (grab a number and they’ll bring the food to you) or take it to go. The staff member who helped us was incredibly attentive, kind, and even chatted with us as we left — such a welcoming touch!
They also have a location in King of Prussia, but I love this one because it’s less crowded, has more parking, and is easier to get to with less traffic. It’s a much more relaxed experience, and I’d choose this location over King of Prussia any day.
Tip: If you can’t find it, put in the Wegmans address — it’s directly to the left when you’re facing Wegmans. We’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!

Oh my, I am so reluctant to post this review since I am gatekeeping this place and don’t want it to suddenly become overrun with foodies like myself. Wherever it is you are currently getting your noodle or dumpling fix, cease and desist, and immediately get over to this place. The ingredients are fresh and tasty and the portions are huge. Start by trying the braised beef and noodles. Then add some dumplings or potstickers. There’s not a bad dish on the menu. Remember, there’s a reason Nan Xiang Express is a Michelin-recommended restaurant and you’ll discover that with the first bite! Please go try it, but I must ask you not overly praise it on social media. Afterall, we want to keep this our little secret, right?..

Amazing First Visit!
First time coming here, and I was really impressed! The place looks super modern and clean — such a nice vibe to hang out and enjoy a meal.
We tried the chicken soup dumplings, and honestly, they were the best I’ve ever had! So juicy and full of flavor. What made it even cooler was seeing the owner making them from scratch right there — you can really tell everything is fresh and made with care.
We also had the vegetarian noodle soup, and it was delicious — cozy, flavorful, and super satisfying.
Definitely coming back again soon. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re craving some really good, fresh Chinese food!

So I really want to like this place, as we went to the main location at King of Prussia and it was a great experience. It’s also food that I know very well, as I was taught to make these food very young so I am very familiar with soup dumplings, pork buns, and just in general Asian stir fried dishes.
The sesame chicken we ordered tasted like old leftover chicken that had been sitting in the fridge for a few days and just quickly microwaved with sauce on top.
The noodle soup had no flavor, and the pork chop that came out with it was still pink in some areas. The pork chop was chewy and tough and like the soup itself, flavorless. We ended up adding a bunch of soy sauce and hot chili oil to give it some flavor and it was still pretty bland, but edible. The presentation was okay though.
The pork buns we ordered came out RAW. That’s right, you read that correctly; raw. The outside dough was hot, but the insides were not fully cooked. I was cutting it up and noticed the raw ground pork and luckily my family and I did not eat any of it.
I wanted a night where we didn’t have to cook, and I’m sad to say it was very disappointing and a waste of money. I don’t think this place will last long if there’s no proper intervention cause whatever they’re doing back there, they should be re-trained cause they don’t know what they’re doing, or they’re just half assing it cause they don’t care and it shows.
