They have a daily frozen custard flavor. The grinder sandwich has turkey, cream cheese, and avocado. We like the onion rings too. Fry sauce may be an Utah thing …

Good stuff right here! Reasonable prices, delish product. Tastes better than ice cream. I want to go back again. The concrete is similar to a blizzard from a different place. The cones look good and would have been more than enough. Otherwise the concrete will overfill you! But go for it. Cute young people working like a hangout place.

I ordered an Oreo Brownie concrete, and it was really good. I don’t typically prefer custard over ice cream, but Nielsen’s is really good (arguably the best custard I’ve had). I love the oldie feel of this location and it’s a great spot to gather with family and friends over a frozen treat. The service was friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed my interactions. It doesn’t make my must-stop list while in St. George, but I’ll be back in the future.

Pros:Delicious custard that melts in your mouth!! Great selection, affordable prices.

Cons: Service slowwwww, patrons inconsiderate!
Please have your and your multiple kids’ orders ready before you order so you’re not holding up the line! Where’s the accountability here? There really needs to be protocol to be sensitive to other people so there is no waiting!
Honestly, this location is not worth the wait and there has to be some regulation to avoid inconveniencing other patrons. I said it again !
Will never return! 20-30 min for ice cream!!! I think not! Get a life bored folks!

I purchased a quart of concrete Caramel Cashew from their freezer. Honestly, there was only one cashew in the entire quart. No bits, no pieces, nothing. Maybe when they were putting on the lid they realized they forgot to put cashews in the mix, so they threw one in on the top.
The costard was good, but the $13.42 I spent for this, I feel they need to take another look at their quality control.

Best custard I’ve tried in town. Thick with very smooth texture. I got chocolate with almonds, it was terrific.

The service here was great! We showed up just a few minutes before close and they were super warm and friendly. The cashier lady was super helpful since it was our first time, and the window washer was very cordial as well.

They lost one star for charging for water… I hate places that do that. It’s 90 degrees out at 10:45 pm, we walked from our place to get this so-called legendary ice cream.., don’t make me pay for a small cup of water. Especially since you’re charging 6$ for a small custard!
And that’s my other complaint. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough concrete, and there was a very disgruntling amount of cookie dough in it 🙁 6.38 for vanilla custard and a couple pieces of cookie dough. And it would have been something if the custard was like, earth shattering, but it was pretty plain. Nothing exciting.

We probably won’t come here again. I saw another review that said “white people stuff” and I 100% agree. The place was pretty packed despite us being there right before close. Obviously a very popular spot. Seems like a good high school hangout.

My favorite custard place, better than Culver’s. Culver’s is still great too, but credit where it’s due. Just had their raspberry Sunday (without nuts). Every time I eat here, no matter how full I am I want to get more, that’s a good rubric for how dang good their Custard really is! 100% recommend. Try it plain first then find the mix in you like most with it.

We were in town for the day and my husband wanted some frozen custard, so we stopped in. I got a cherry for me and a tin roof for him. He ate his so fast and said it was great. Mine was really good too and had bits of cherry in it, although it was a little sweet. Service was awesome and we ordered and received our food quickly. The restaurant was clean and very well kept. Booths were nice and cozy too!

Driving across Utah, we had to revisit this place; I hadn’t been here in years. The custard is marvelous, the staff are friendly and there are tons of options. If you’re in the area, reward yourself. Live a little!

Probably the best “ice cream” type dessert I’ve ever had. Even though it’s not ice cream, it may be even better? It’s thick, creamy, rich, customizable, delicious, and the staff are amazing because the menu is so simple. Quality establishment with quality products.
