It was our first time in this restaurant, first of all the food was good but the sizes aren’t too big! The best part was the fresh bread something that I didn’t like was the room light, it looks very dark and is not very kids friendly. But overall this restaurant is good for try at least once

Date Night… Nido’s has the best Italian food and it’s a cozy place tonight our waiter was very polite but not that attentive.. It’s was not that big of an issue cause wifey was happy! So still 4 stars.. And still a recommended place for great Italian food!

Nidos is awesome. Fantastic Italian fare. We tried the combo platter with chicken parmesan, spaghetti, Italian sausage and meatball….we followed up with tiramisu and cannoli. Great service. Will come back often.

I ordered the Nido’s Platter, which included eggplant, sausage, and spaghetti with meatballs. It was very filling! I also enjoyed the service we received from our server Eric. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys homecooked Italian food!

Hate to not give a better review but when both menus come out filthy, I wonder what the kitchen looks like. How they didn’t see this and thrown them out is beyond me. The table was wobbly, but it was too busy to ask someone to slow down and fix this for us. On the positive, the white pizza was delicious and the Eggplant Parmesan was good. My husband loved his pasta dish also. Need to be more detail oriented with cleanliness though. Service was adequate.

I’ve been going to this restaurant about once a month or so since I was a little girl, and I still get excited going there. It’s the place I choose for my birthdays and celebrations. The food is wonderful – don’t believe what these people are saying about canned tomatoes. I have never seen that happen – ever. Nido’s makes its own extremely excellent marinara sauce. When I go, I usually share the white pizza with the family – which is wonderful and much anticipated. I almost always get the salmon marinara when I am there – which is fantastic I might add. The portion is very generous, and I usually can’t get half way through my bowl of pasta after eating the fish.
Okay – so the frozen tiny butter packets are true – that does seem to happen here. But who goes to an Italian restaurant and then puts country crock on the bread? Three words: Olive. Oil. Dip. Its delicious and everything you could want to use for it is on every table at all times.

The food here is good, but not great. Large portions of classic Italian dishes. We had the spaghetti and the fettuccine alfredo. Both were good if a bit plain. The pizza was fine. Thin soft crust so it can be a little difficult to eat by hand. The service was ok, a bit confused at times but nothing negative.

The staff is very friendly. The white pizza was delicious. The crab dip was flavorful and the bread was perfectly soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The basil in the pesto tasted very fresh. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is nice. The waiter was great – got our order right, came at the right times, friendly, etc. The food was a shame. It’s a loveless combination of inferior ingredients and bad cooking.
1. The bread was some kind of American pop-over roll you’d pick up half baked at the grocery store. Served hot it was okay for a weeknight family dinner in the 1950s, but it ISN’T Italian. It was sweet and airy and didn’t go with Italian food at all.
2. The Antipasto was terrible. The vegetable are supposed to be MARINATED, not pickled! Pickles don’t belong in an antipasto at all! The meats were thick sliced and Oscar-Meyer quality. The black olives were straight out of a can. There were little balls of Mozzarella, but they were all soaked in the pickle brine. Horrible.
3. The stuffed Mushroom appetizer was huge. Too much mushroom, too much spinach, not enough flavor and some unidentifiable cheese on top that was so bland and chewy I just couldn’t eat it.
4. the sausage and peppers were just cooked wrong. Obviously the sausage was cooked earlier and the peppers cooked to order. So the peppers weren’t right, the onions (Bermuda? why?) were tasteless. And the pasta was tasteless (under salted in cooking, and no sauce, no olive oil, NOTHING) and musciad (overcooked).
5. The pizza dough tasted too sweet and rolled, not thrown. That affects the texture and flavor, so it fails. The sauce was a little too sweet for my taste, but maybe others would like it. The cheese was okay (of decent quality) the pepperoni was right off the supermarket shelf. I couldn’t taste the fungi, so I’m not going to say they were bad.
Cafeteria food at best. I had such high hopes for this tucked away and nearby place. I’m so disappointed.
