We were so pleased with our food, service and the ambiance at Nicolinni’s Chophouse. Riley was a wonderful server, she was very knowledgeable of the menu and had a great personality. My wife had the lasagna and I had chicken francese, both were delicious. Next time through Canfield we will stop again.

First time, last time. Order# 7056 receipt code 0078744231625. We have wanted for quite some to try this restaurant on a special occasion. We were sadly disappointed. Our booth seating was not very clean. The young man Cole waiting our table seemed too busy fraternizing with coworkers then paying attention to our tables needs. Orders were wrong and not accurately described. Complaints from our group were not taken seriously. No visit from management and no offer to compensate was made. Now let’s talk about the food. The pasta and sauces were delicious. The appetizers we ordered tasted great. The steak was tough and difficult to cut with a steak knife. The rice pilaf could’ve passed as boxed and microwaved. I wish the grilled chicken on top of my pasta looked as good as the chicken parm I saw. Now for the icing on the cake, or not. They ran short on dessert and only offered creme brullia or bread pudding. My hope is that management will see this review and make changes accordingly. As costs increase to dine out I find a greater desire for my expectations to be met. Thank you

The bread was tender and flavorful and the olive oil was delicious. The salad was fresh and well dressed. The chicken with Italian greens on penne pasta was fantastic. The portion was large (could be shared by 2). The greens were well seasoned. The menu says it’s spicy, and the bite from the spice was perfectly portioned to the size of the dish. Our waitress was attentive and efficient. We will be back!

The service was above par and the host was pleasant.
The food was a hit and a definite miss on multiple items.
My fella got the porterhouse with the vegetables, which was amazing! It was seared to perfection as well as the medium rare he ordered. The vegetable were crisp and light.
The Hungarian stuffed peppers with sausage and zucchini were “okay” with the exception that they were not cleaned out properly, leaving tons of pepper seeds that made it inedible/molten lava in the mouth. They were also al dente which intensified the heat. If they were prepared correctly; I’m sure they would have been amazing!

I got the spaghetti and meatballs, because- we were at an Italian ristorante, afterall…. I was left very disappointed- being a chef prior; I know a good sauce… this is NOT a good sauce- at all! It is stewed tomatoes mainly, barely seasoned, and extremely tart. The acid content made me sick. I could tell nothing was added to reduce the acid content such as a carrot, brown or white sugar… something!! No basil, oregano- heck I don’t know if there was even salt and pepper added to this sauce. All I know is; that when I open up a can of stewed tomatoes, whole tomatoes, tomato paste and mixed them together; it would definitely taste the same as what was served to me. The meatballs were flavorful, but only after I reheated them at home. I’m assuming they were made that day and had no time to soak in the flavors that were added yet considering the huge difference in taste from dine in and 2 days later when I heated it up to give it a second chance.

The salad and house dressing is good. I would omit the weird tomato sauce they put on top though, as it does nothing for the salad and takes away from the fresh vegetables being served.

Like I said- a hit and miss. Go for the steak!

One of the rare occasions I wish I could give 6 stars. Wonderful dinner on a Friday night. They were busy but we were immediately seated. Prompt, friendly and professional service throughout. Our server was superb. The main menu was unique and there was a “specials” menu. Salad was served in a large bowl for the table to distribute. The house sweet vinaigrette dressing was excellant.
Entrees were delivered 12 min after ordering and they were great. I chose a unique chicken-applejack with butternut ravioli an an apple reduction. Out of this world. My partner had egg plant parm with angel hair pasta. The red sauce was a bit sweeter and thinner than I like but still well above average. We splurged on a cinnamon roll cheesecake that was perfect with fresh whipped cream.
The server was attentive throughout.
The check for 2 with wine was about $65. I consider that a great value.
Nicolinni’s is definitely on our fine dining rotation. Probably the best meal I have had since moving to NE Ohio 6 months ago.
We will definitely put Nicolinni’s at the top of our fine dining rotation.
UPDATE 8/28: Another superb meal. Great food, smooth efficient service, crowded but comfortable venue. Nicolinni’s must have the most skilled and competent kitchen in the region.

What a perfect place for my wife’s birthday dinner. I thought we were early, but the restaurant was filling quickly and managed to get seated without issue. Our first time here so we looked at the menu online before we went and had a very good idea of what we wanted. The food was fantastic and well worth the price. Bread and salad comes with the dinners and also a side dish. Wonderful service (servers name Cole) made the meal even more enjoyable. Cocktails were delicious and made with top shelf ingredients. Topped it all off with a dessert that we shared. Restaurant is large, easy to find, and ample parking. I highly recommend coming here for a special occasion or just to enjoy good tasting Italian food. Already talking about returning around the holidays.

Nicolinni’s is top-notch! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was quite comfortable. It’s definitely a fancy restaurant, so expect your food and drink to be somewhat pricey. That being said, everything we ordered was delicious!! Around the table, we had ordered the Whitefish Marsala, the Loaded Frenched Pork Chop, the Chicken and Greens, and the Chicken Giada. They were all prepared beautifully and were packed with flavor! You will receive nice sized portions for your money, so that’s a plus. You can expect to pay $20-$30 per person for pasta dishes. The steaks and chops are a little higher but are definitely worth it as my pork chop was huge! It’s definitely a good place for date night. We went as four adults and were very happy. I did not see any children there, nor did I see a children’s menu. Our server was great! He was attentive and accomodating even though they were extremely busy. All in all, it was a great experience.

Six of us had dinner there at 6 PM on a recent Wednesday. The restaurant was very busy. There were many positives to our evening. We had a reservation and were seated after a short wait and our server arrived quickly to our table. He did an excellent job (his name was Alan). All of us very much enjoyed our various meals with no complaints which is rare when we all eat out together. We really appreciated that the music volume allowed us to hear our conversation rather than having to talk loudly to try to hear each other. We all commented that we found this restaurant to be our favorite of the many in this area that we as a group have tried and we will definitely go back again.

Second time here — food was really good as always.
Unfortunately, a few things made the visit less enjoyable. We were a party of two and told the wait would be about 25–35 minutes, but we ended up waiting over an hour to be seated. I understand it’s tough to give exact times, but setting more realistic expectations would’ve helped.

After being seated, it took nearly 10 minutes for a server to stop by. There were plenty of staff around, but the overall vibe felt disjointed, some looked stressed, others seemed indifferent. The whole service felt a bit chaotic.

There were a few other minor things I won’t get into — like a beer ordered early that didn’t arrive until we were nearly done eating. Despite all that, we really enjoyed the food and sides. Props to our server for keeping a positive attitude, she was trying, and that matters.
