Wait was a little long, about an hour to receive our food from walking in after placing a reservation; but I also overheard staff saying they were short-handed. The Haddock and Tenderloin were both very good and large portions! Well worth the price. Would enjoy visiting here more often.

Service was a little slow due to only 2 waitresses on a Sunday evening, but all the staff worked hard to keep everybody happy. Great food, reasonable prices. We all had a great time.

They have my favorite cheese and crackers and a veggie tray. Prices were good also. I had steak and haddock and the wife had walleye. Total cost with tip was 56.00 lot of food for the cost.

Went here on a recommendation and seriously want to ask if they have any taste buds If you like super strong drinks, this is the place!!! Took me an hour to finish and Jack and diet in a highball glass. Not super busy when we arrived and it still took two full hours to be served. The fish had zero flavor. Not even salt. The steak was fine, comparable to a Costco cut of meat. Fried shrimp was also fine. Slightly bland but the cocktail sauce was good. Their ranch salad dressing was sweet and I have no idea what was up with the tartar sauce. When paying the bill, the cashier asked how everything was. Said it was ok. Cashier then asked what the problem was with the meal. When we told him, he had no response. We won’t be back. There are 100 better places to eat in Appleton.

Good basic entrées but the salads were kind of plain. Nice bar area to wait, but we waited two plus hours after being told an hour and fifteen. Not overly busy, maybe not enough servers. We’ll try again on another night.

Thinking of choosing The Heiting Place? This was my experience. My signicant other placed reservations based on a friends recommendation. We dined in, we disliked it. The wait for our appetizers was fairly quick, deepfried mushrooms and French onion soup. Both were good, exactly what you expect. For entrees we both went with the Stuffed shrimp, beef tenderloin, and twice baked potato. If you enjoy the good ole salt and pepper seasoning for steak. You would enjoy this bland and joyless steak. Mine was overcooked to medium well and my significant others was undercooked, between raw and rare. The potato was the best thing served to us. And sadly I believe you get the same type of quality from idahoan instant mashed potatoes.

Great food! Ordered pick up for the first time. Never ate there but boy was I impressed. Got two steak and lobster tail dinners, and it was better than I expected! Very fresh cooked to how I ordered! I can’t wait to try it in person soon! The staff member who took my order was patient and helpful especially for a busy fish fry Friday supper club in Wisconsin. She was very friendly. Definitely gained another costumer!
