Cute place! Retro diner vibe. Clean, great service and wonderful food. Sit at the counter, or at a table or booth. Plenty of parking outside. I think I found my new spot. Highly recommend.

This place is exactly what a diner should be!
Good cooking, down home style, and affordable.
Good wait staff that can listen to your order and get it right with a smile. And they’ll check on your coffee for a warm up, becoming unusual in today’s restaurants.
Came in for the Coney dog, the Nicky D’s style with the meat topping is tasty. My wife enjoyed crepes with fruit topping and that stuff was amazing.
Thanks Nicky D’s for being what a diner should be!
Good food, good value, and attentive staff with a smile.

Easy accessible location, fantastic atmosphere, and great prices. Rude waitress. Initially, when taking our order, she was rude. We are people of second chances, and the waitress continued to be rude. Bathrooms need tidying and stocked with soap. Food service was so fast – questionable, but good and great presentation. Ordered sourdough toast, it was white bread. — after telling the waitress, she insisted it was sourdough – no arguing with her, and no tip for her. Greeter and cashier warm and welcoming!

Today was actually my first time eating at Nikki D’s Coney Island on Woodward, which is kind of wild considering I’ve lived in the area since the 90s—and I’m pretty sure this place has been around just as long.
First off, I really loved the classic diner vibe. The decor, the pictures on the walls, and the overall atmosphere give it that old-school Coney Island feel, which is always a win in my book.
I ordered a Coney Island with fries and a Mountain Dew. The food itself was great, no complaints there. The only reason this isn’t a five-star review is the fries. They’re seasoned with Lawry’s seasoning salt, which I’m personally not a fan of. The menu didn’t mention it, and I wish I would’ve gotten a quick heads-up when I ordered—if I had known, I would’ve asked for regular salt instead.
That said, the service was excellent. Pam was awesome and made sure to check on me throughout my visit, which I really appreciated.
Overall, great experience, great food, and a cool vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back—next time with unseasoned fries.

While I did not try the food as I’m a Dasher, This place is so cute. Gave me like a 1950s or 1960s feel. Remind me of my grandparents and simpler times. Really cute and the staff was very patient and very quick and super friendly, although the French toast I picked up for my customer smelt amazing even through the box and a bag that was sealed. Can’t wait to try the food!

You better check your order before you leave the place if you are picking up, this is the second time that I ordered the grill chicken greek salad and they forgot the dressing, I mean that salad is only good with their famous pink dressing and everyone agree that nothing more annoying than driving all the way back home only to find out that you got skimped on your order and you have to eat your salad dry with the over cooked chicken, very disappointing.

The vibe is old-school diner. Booths, counter stools, shiny metal chairs covered in red, in fact, chrome (& polished aluminum) & red are the dominant theme.
After 1 p.m. and nearly every seat is full.
The menus, plural, are so big – and both are two-sided – that I’m not even going to take pictures. Burgers, sandwiches, pitas, Coneys & salads on one, breakfast fare on the other.
Service is quick & friendly, the prices are terrific. The most expensive thing I saw was a ribeye for about $16.
Got my two Coneys for under $7 with tax included. Yummy, quick, inexpensive, what more could you want?
