I’ve passed by here SO MANY TIMES and recently decided to pop in because I wanted a pizza puff…I left with much more LOL

Also tried the Grecian chicken, souvlaki combo (chicken and pork), and rib tips. Everything was pretty delish, service was quick…took about 10-12 minutes for all of this. There is a decent amount of seating and parking.

I’m a fan…love me a good family owned neighborhood business! Have already been back again in the same week!

Came here today because I wanted an Italian Beef, which this area does not offer much of a selection of. I always order mine the same way; dipped with giardiniera and mozzarella. When they called my order and I went to pick it up I was instantly a little saddened as I saw it was the style where they put the cheese on the top and then melt it in the oven for a bit. I don’t care for this method as when you eat it, you only get cheese on a small portion of the beef, only on the top, nowhere else. Not a deal breaker, let’s see how good it is! Once I picked it up I noticed it definitely was not dipped. Not that it was dry, but it wasn’t dripping wet the way a truly dipped beef would be. I did however notice that it was huge! This was no skimpy beef by any means! The flavor was outstanding! Great spices and flavors. Not a bland beef like you find at a lot of places. Then the giardiniera! Nice and hot, which I love! Even though I didn’t have to take a bath after eating it, there was still plenty of au jus to make it enjoyable. I got the combo meal that came with fries. They seemed to be fresh cut, and huge! Very good fries! The beef was so big, I don’t think I even finished half of my fries. The restaurant itself was immaculate. The bathroom was pristine. The fountain drink station was equipped with one of the new, cool touch-screen machines with all of your drinks in one machine. The staff was great. Despite the beef not being my favorite style, my experience here was great. If I was in the area, I’d probably stop by again.

One of the best bacon cheeseburgers I’ve ever had! It was huge and cooked perfectly with fresh toppings. Friendly service and everything from the gyros to the daily soups are so delicious. Go try Nick’s if you haven’t already!

I don’t know what happened. The outside has a new look, but the quality of the food is definitely different. Cashier just stood behind the register when we walked in and just looked at us. I think she was waiting for us to order. Ordered 2 gyros to-go.
The gyro meat was overcooked, and the pita was burnt and hard. Please see the photo. We think these are new owners. It’s not the same. Will not be back.

I’d give the chicken sandwich a 6/10 it felt rubbery. I kinda felt something was off when I ate it. Just 20 minutes after eating it, I started throwing up, I’m fat so I can pretty much eat anything. It’s rare for food to make me throw up. The service was great. And the atmosphere dint feel to corporate, but it felt like a modern run down restaurant, however that doesn’t make me out completely, I believe in second chances. I am curious on how the gyros taste

Friendly service! Food was DELICIOUS! Ordered a Gyro, Breaded Chicken Sandwich, & Zucchini appetizer. Everything was made fresh and hot! They make an in-house garlic cream/sauce that paired very nicely with the sandwich and fried zucchini.
Chill vibe and clean!

Simply delicious .
After passing by Nick’s so many times. We decided to go there after the last Trick or Treaters stopped by.
It was a little late, so you always think it’s a hit or miss. Wow, We were wrong. Everything we ordered was a winner. Cooked to perfection that had our taste buds jumping with excitement. We ordered Chicken Gyro / Fries and Chicken Breast Dinners. Family really enjoyed our dinner. Looking forward to trying other dishes on the menu.
That’s another thing… The Menu.
So many items to choose from. There is something for everyone. I really like having so many choices.
#Winning here at Nick’s.

Ordered a double dog combo…. couldn’t get it right. Food sucked because it wasn’t what I ordered. Wobbly tables and chairs. Soggy fries.

Tried it again today 5 months later, kept it simple. Ordering a chicken sandwich, I received a $13 chicken sandwich. Photos below.

Food is average and overpriced for what you get. My husband likes their gyros, but they are small compared to what I receive at other similar establishments. Ther turkey club is a sad little sandwich (see photo). It’s basically all bread and hardly any substance within – very little turkey and one measly strip of bacon. Will think twice about returning here. There are other places worthier of my patronage.

I’m writing this review to make customers—and hopefully the owner of Nick’s Red Hots—aware of a very serious issue involving staff behavior.

I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years, visiting about three times a month, and I always order the same thing: the Famous Chicken Gyro (#14, no tomatoes) with a fresh, made-to-order sack of fries. Until now, I have never had a problem.

On 12/15 at approximately 5:10 PM, I came in and ordered my usual and dined in. When I bit into the gyro, after getting past the honey mustard, the chicken was hard, crusty, and completely dried out—clearly overcooked from sitting too long on the rotisserie. While disappointing, I didn’t make a big deal out of it. I finished my fries, which were still hot and fresh, and calmly showed the cashier the gyro.

I spoke quietly and respectfully and explained that the chicken wasn’t good. She was polite and said they would remake it. I thanked her several times and explained that I normally don’t complain, but I was hungry and on a short lunch break. I asked if I could take the replacement to go since I was running late.

As I grabbed my jacket and returned to the counter, I overheard the cashier telling the two cooks something along the lines of, “It’s not like that—he’s a nice guy and comes here all the time.” I took this as her trying to explain that I wasn’t trying to get free food, just that the gyro had been poorly prepared.

When I returned to work and opened the replacement gyro, I was shocked. There was a broom bristle placed inside the chicken gyro, hidden under a large amount of honey mustard.

I have spent a significant amount of money at this business over the years, and I am beyond angry and disappointed. Putting what appears to be a dirty broom bristle—used to clean floors—into a customer’s food is unacceptable, unsanitary, and malicious.

Because of how this was handled and how I was treated, I will never return. I am filing complaints and sharing this experience publicly so others are aware.

This is not about a bad gyro—it’s about employee behavior and food safety, and I hope ownership takes this seriously.
