I took my Sons here in March 2025 for a new place to Get Some pizza. My boys both love it and we wanted to find a different place to try….it was a great pizza. The indoor area was a little small but understandable because it wasn’t really a sit down type place more of a pick it up and go….but with the kids, we wanted to just eat there and they accommodated us very well! Pizza dough was great and we ate up the whole pie between the 3 of us!

First time ordering Nick’s Pizza and the food was not edible. First the cheese Calzone was burned outside and not fully cooked inside much of the dough inside was very undercooked. The pizza was burned, overcook and soggy crust. A good restaurant would not serve food in such condition. The cheese on the pizza had a dry elastic texture. One of the worst pizzas I have had in Pittsburgh. I understand by reading some of the reviews that these are not the original owners and most of the reviews were given prior. Very, very disappointed, a total waist of money!!!

I ordered takeout pizza from this location. 2 large pizzas. Both of them came to my house very undercooked to the point where it was inedible. When I called the store to let them know, they told me pretty much that I was lying and when I asked to talk to a manager they said to call back tomorrow and ask for “George”. I called back the next day and they said I’m sorry George isn’t here. Can you call back tomorrow again. So then I called back again today and they still said, I couldn’t talk to George and they refuse to give me a refund for my pizza that I had to completely thrown away. I’ve never dealt with such terrible service and will never be ordering from this place again. Which is a shame because I usually order from them quite often.

UPDATE: The follow up comment by the owner is even more proof of what I said in my review to be spot on. They even lied in their response. I spoke with the manager who spoke with the owner, and they decided to not work with me on multiple phone calls on multiple days. I was very nice, and gave them many chances. This place is a dirty horrible mess, you’ll regret all of it, don’t go here.

Bad quality, bad customer service, no accountability for dirty/contaminated/stale food/virus or bacteria infested food. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch XL. When I arrived for pickup, they were just making my pizza when I arrived. If you want a waste of time, money, and the contents of your bowels to be exited from your stomach, go to Nicks Pizza. I attempted to eat this dirty contaminated virus or bacteria infested food three times, every time almost like clockwork it came out the other end. The pizza seemed a little undercooked when I started to eat it. The shop had flies flying around, and the kitchen looked absolutely filthy from the front counter. The cook had filth all over him. They said they only cooked the pizza for 10 minutes, to come back in 10. I called back explaining the situation to them, and they blame me for getting sick after eating their pizza. I asked the manager if I could speak to the owner, she said he wasn’t available. I asked to give them another chance by offering a pizza either at cost or half off, to my surprise, they said no. They don’t stand behind anything, including their food and customers. Skip this place, it’s lost everything that made it what it was before Nick and Tom sold it.

Best pizza around, the steak deluxe pizza was great. Their Doughboys, which I can only describe as a pizza taco panini from heaven, were a new experience for me. The Italian and Cheese steak doughboys were delicious and HUGE, tons of bang for your buck.
Pete was super helpful and hit it out of the park with this great lunch. I drove down from Cranberry to try it and it’s well worth the drive.

Flavor, Flavor Flavor. I had the pleasure of eating at Nick’s. The owners and staff are amazing first of all. This alone will keep me coming back. The food is amazing. The nick rolls, the cheesesteak dough boy, and the buffalo chicken pizza. The doughboy I haven’t seen anywhere and it’s amazing and yes I ate it by myself. 🙂 Also homemade cookies! Count me in! I tried Nick’s on a whim because my favorite pizza place was closed and they had good reviews. They did not disappoint! We got a large pepperoni pizza and it was hot and delicious. I would love to try some more items on the menu next time I’m in town.

If I could give them a Zero, I would . They were very disrespectful when I went down to complain about their meatball dish. I had to go down because NO ONE returned my calls . The food was burnt and inedible. It should never have been delivered. They told me to get out of their store and called me insane. That is how Nicks Pizza treats their customers. I will never patronize them again. Ever. And by the way, that picture was taken the minute it arrived and I sent that picture to the cell phone of the restaurant, as well as to my friends and neighbors . They all said -Go down there and show them what was delivered!!!!

My son, my father and I had a great experience at Nick’s pizza on Thursday (12/26/2024) in the evening. George recommended that we shared a personal pizza. It was huge, tasty and freshly made to order. We all really enjoyed it. Thank you George and Gretchen for making tasty pizza and for offering outstanding customer service, too!
