I really was prepared to be underwhelmed. I have had this place on my list of places to try for about 3 years. We finally decided to drive over to Lexington to try it today. The line was long. The wait was 45 minutes and we decided to stick it out.
So glad we did. The burgers were fresh, flavorful and delicious. The perfect balance of toppings and meat. The fries were crispy and salty. We will definitely be back and will definitely wait an hour again.

I drove from Charlotte because I heard nice things about Nick’s. It did not disappoint!!! You have the option to dine inside or outside. They even have a drive-thru…….The food and the service was awesome. Kylee took my order and welcomed me to Nick’s. Because of the employees as well as the delicious food, I will be coming back soon!!!

We drove in from Sunset Beach after seeing excellent video reviews to try this. It was worth every mile! The burgers were juicy, full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and had just the right amount of condiments to compliment them. The onion rings were crunchy and sweet. Fries were so hot and perfectly seasoned, and the ranch dip made them even better. The hot dogs were so good! Barbecue slaw made them the best, and the chili had just enough kick to make it sing. The petals sauce is spicy and had a great zing to it. The sweet tea had me singing and refilling the cup repeatedly. Even better than the food, was the employees. Every single person was smiling and happy, had something nice to say to us, and kept everything moving fast and clean clean clean!! We will be back for sure. Its such a great place!

There was a line waiting outside before they opened, the burgers were moist and delicious, great coleslaw and chilli. I had the all the way with pimento cheese omg it was good. The pimento cheese was homemade

Great friendly environment and great Place and great group of people that work there and enjoy what they do! The Food is amazing smash burgers are amazing. And the Philly cheesesteak sandwich is good too and the Pattie Melt was amazing and a great cheese pull! Done Food review on my TikTok channel and reviewed there food items and Nicks even like and commented on the video! Thanks for a great experience we will be back!

Not much to say- when the burger is so dang good all you can do is praise the Lord. Owners care about the community and it shows. The big Nick Mac is my go-to and it never lets me down. They also got that gooood ranch baby. It’s a little pricey but worth it. Very, very busy on Friday nights so be prepared for a wait. But when the locals love it you know it means it’s good! When they move to their new location I think they will have more room for seatings and cut down on wait times.

I was at the vet at North Davidson veterinary and I was looking for something to eat. I called this location and ordered a single cheeseburger. I’m a disabled veteran and getting out and drive thrus are a challenge for me so this seemed to be a good choice. The girl told me to pull around back and that somebody would be out to get my payment and bring the food.
I drove around back and parked. While waiting the time frame that she had told me which was 10 to 15 minutes I had seen multiple cars pull up to a drive-thru window pay and get their food. At a certain point after a reasonable time had passed I got the employees attention she came over and I asked what was going on with the single burger I ordered. She stated that I was supposed to pull up to the window with a good bit of attitude. Me perplexed because I had placed an order already and did not find it common sense to then go to a drive thru window and being considerate, Why would I get in their line? Just didn’t seem reasonable and kinda redundant.
I’m good at taking my 50 in a situation however in this case this is not what I was told to do. I placed an order on the phone and parked out back as instructed. So I waited for about 25 minutes for a single burger that was apparently just sitting there and was brought out to me cold. Still left a tip and was kind.
I originally simply just wrote, “meh” and gave the location 3 stars. However the owner apparently wanted to continue the unprofessional culture at this location and right back a demeaning message to showcase this. I have now updated my review and given him the attention he apparently needs.
