Casual and decent seafood options known for their crab but too bad when we visited (January) they were out! Place is fairly large with a large bar area and TVs all around that’s great for a sports game. The must order is definitely the crab cakes which were juicy and meaty. Everything else tastes typical at best. The old fashioned was made on the stronger side- which all alcoholics can appreciate. The seafood egg-rolls were are tasty, albeit a bit pricey at $23 for 4 pieces ( really 2 cut in half). Just a shame we didn’t get to try to blue crabs.

The restaurant is right on the water. The view is pretty good! The food is to die for! It was so fun to crack open the crabs. The crush drinks are delicious!! The stuffed shrimp with crab is soooo good!! And the fries and rice! It was absolutely sp good!! Maria was THE BEST waitress EVER!! She taught us how to crack the crabs open and everything. She made us feel comfortable and at ease. She was amazing! She made the visit even better!! I wish we lived in the state ap we could come back! Parking can be tough, but there is valet parking for just $10! The place was packed Sunday morning, but there was a Ravens game so it cleared out quickly!

Nice little spot on the water away from the traffic of the city. Would be very chill spot in the summer time but since I came when its freezing out , I dont knownwhat thr overall atmosphere is.
The food is decent..staff is nice and place is clean. I had the grilled salmon that could have used some seasoning but it was ok.

Nick’s is well known for a reason. The space and waterfront vibes are great. The food is fantastic, and the drinks are also really good. We enjoyed both the shrimp mac and cheese and the crabcake. This is a great option for gameday or happy hour!

I haven’t been home to Baltimore in over five years. My friend suggested this place and we met there for steamed crabs. I can tell you that this place is amazing in every aspect the atmosphere the drinks the menu was extensive. They had so many options. Everything was hot and fresh. We had the crab dip which was so so good and we got a half a dozen of jumbo’s and a half dozen of large crabs. these crabs were perfection, hot fresh and heavy. It’s right on the water down underneath the Hanover Street bridge in a new area called the Peninsula. This was all new to me since I’ve been living in New York. This place makes me wanna drive back down right now the food was that good. The service was excellent. The waitress was extra friendly and I even got a bread pudding to go, which was phenomenal with the sauce and the berries this is a must stop when you are in Baltimore hands-down the new best place for crabs in my opinion.

Great place to go with a few people. We (4) sat at high bar table which is first available no wait. Live music! The large crabs were meaty enough. Plenty of old bay on the crabs and salty. Loved the steamed shrimp, deviled eggs and chopped salad. I would definitely go back. Be warned parking is limited directly at the place; we did valet! There are a variety seating options but once full the wait can be long.

One of the best seafood restaurants on the water. When you visit you will receive great food and customer service. They have a bonus which I love and that is sitting on the pier. My last visit some patrons pulled up on jet skis for lunch. I love to see people making the best of life and these gentlemen did it well. If you never tried a crab pretzel, I would recommend that you try it (preferably 2 or more people). It is huge and a Baltimore thing.

Service was incredible. The food was mostly great — the crab pretzel was my favorite. The shrimp Mac and cheese and the crab grilled cheese were a little on the dry side, and I thought the cream of crab soup was a little bland, but everything else was delicious and we left stuffed and happy.

My wife and I had lunch at Nick’s Fish House on the Bay. Loved the atmosphere — right on the water with a relaxed, casual vibe that makes you feel like you’re on vacation, even if you’re just out for lunch or dinner. Everything came out hot and fresh, the staff could have been a little more attentive we waited on condiments like ketchup pepper extra plates and cocktail sauce
I ordered the fried oysters, and they were very good, breaded and fried to a golden crisp on the outside. My wife had the crab cakes, they were loaded with lump crab meat, very lightly seasoned.
We also enjoyed a couple of drinks by the water and enjoyed the view. If you love authentic seafood, this place is absolutely worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back!

We rolled through on a Saturday night and we were so kindly greeted by Lizzy, one of the adorable hostesses! We were originally told it would be a 45 minute wait, it ended up being 10 or less!
Great view of the bay from our table on the second floor while listening to the live band!
Gage our server was awesome, attentive and chill
Highly recommend their crab stuffed pretzel. Stop by Nick’s Fish House the next time you’re stopping through Baltimore & tell em DIESEL AND MO sent you! ✌️
