What a find as we were on an audio tour of SLO. We had the best gyros here we have had in a long time, and look at the local selection of refreshing drinks! The service was great, and they adjusted our order well for some very picky eaters! If you live in SLO or if you are visiting, don’t miss this gem!

My boyfriend found a screw in his food!! Thank god he didn’t swallow or chip a tooth. This is unacceptable. First time ordering here and never eating here again. This is not the first time hearing about a similar incident.

I went in on a Friday night. Ordered food for dine-in and sat down to wait. The employee that took our order came up and said “we’re closing soon. You’re gonna have to leave when you get your food”. Our food wasn’t even out yet nor was it even the advertised closing time when he said this.
When he finally came back with our food, still before the closing time, he dropped to-go containers and said we have to leave because he has to close the doors. This was still about 15 mins before the closing time. We could have finished up and been gone by the closing time.
It was oddly rude service. I would have been okay if he informed us as we ordered instead of letting us sit down for dine-in without a comment and then having an attitude about us eating there 15 mins before the closing time.
In addition to that, this is why it’s horrible to ask your customers for a tip up front as they place an order, before any of the real service begins. I left 20% as we ordered cause we had no issues up til we started waiting for our food and was forced to leave as I was handed my dine-in order.
Will not be returning. Far better service elsewhere.

Went for lunch. Got food quickly. The Mediterranean bowl with chicken gyro, is our go to. Parking can be tricky, we got paid street parking and we were in and out in 30 minutes. Great location, will eat here again.

I came to Nick the Greek on a Froyo quest. I had a stand-up set that night, and the only way I can guarantee a successful performance is pregaming with froyo. John was my froyo messiah, each swirl handled with patience and great care. But here’s the thing, as I was watching the Froyo swirl I couldn’t help but notice that John has the exact same height and build as Spider-Man. And I’m just saying that I have never seen John and Spider-Man in the same room at the same time. Plus, “John”? Sounds suspiciously like John Doe. A cover name, a secret identity. It makes sense. Peter Parker wouldn’t risk working undercover at another news outlet. Too obvious. But Nick the Greek? Perfect cover.
Five stars. Froyo blessed by definitely not undercover Spider-Man.

The food is good, but it did take a little while for the food to be ready. We’re here on Friday night and they have two people working behind the counter. It seems like the speed may be improved by having an additional employee.
