Best boba I’ve ever had! I really enjoyed the decor, and the prices were reasonable. Good selection and the girl who served me was patient and made an amazing drink. I will definitely be making this a weekly stop in my travels to northampton.

Nice Tea Northampton May 17, 2025
I love these types of places.
Bright inside, roomy, quiet.
Boba has taken the world by storm.
My daughter and I went there after a full day walking around Northampton.
We both ordered drinks.
It was steep but it was a blast.
We got some good pictures.
I wasn’t sure how to order.
People knew how to order.
The people were nice and conscientious.
You’ll know the place from the outside.
There is a massive Boba Tea sculpture outside.
Hard to miss.
I do miss the drinks.
I got a coffee based Boba Drink.

The people there are sooo nice, and the place is very clean and cozy. The boba is very delicious and quick. I always get the same drink, but some times I branch out. I always get the taro smoothie with lychee pooping boba and cold milk foam. It is a cup of heaven lol. I reccomend this place to anybody. A defenite YES.

Not a safe place to sit inside

The drinks and food are pretty good, however I don’t feel safe however to sit down and enjoy my beverage inside. Last time I was there I noticed a large group of (possibly ) homeless people doing drugs in the back seating area. I watched this happen multiple times over a 2 hour span and an employee kept walking by and did nothing about it. I had to bring my stuff with me to the bathroom because I was afraid it would get stolen.

I have been here a few times to try various boba drinks. They were all slightly watery and lacking in tea flavor. The boba was a bit mushy as well. Their xiao long bao and other kitchen items are ok, and the place is very cute!

Extremely mid to bad. Got the brown sugar boba (hot) with egg pudding, and the coffee with mocha (almond milk and coffee jelly). To start, I’ve had a lot of mid brown sugar boba in my life, I’ve also had a lot of great brown sugar boba. This was like bottom of the barrel mid. The tapioca pearls were slightly hard, not soft and chewy like they are supposed to be. The boba isn’t even coated with brown sugar like the name implies. The tea itself tasted slightly off and bitter like it was steeped too long. The overall drink tasted slightly off kilter like they dumped a bunch of liquid sugar in it (I ordered 75% sugar btw).

The coffee was okay. As much as you can expect coffee from a tea shop to be good. The main problem was the coffee jelly which was extremely hard and tasted like it had just been defrosted. It was unpleasant to taste.

On to the place itself, no one was in there and multiple chairs were ripped. Overall, I should have believed the bad reviews. I’m personally never going back there. The tea is slightly cheaper (6 bucks instead of 8) for a reason. It’s worth paying more at a different place to actually enjoy and finish my drink.

Exactly what I was craving! Tried the coconut tea for the first time, and it was perfection. My spouse ventured and had the brown sugar ginger one, and she LOVED it. Might as well keep the 1st time trying things rolling and got the pork soup dumplings. Where have these been all my life! Delish!

Tastes like “toenails”, extremely watered down, not at all worth $7. Somewhat cute interior though, if the drinks were good you could chill there for a while.

Considering all the boba places in Amherst and Northampton, this one is definitively the best, hands down. The quality of drinks is easily better than any of the other ones I’ve been to in Amherst, and considering the increasing prices of those places, this place is also totally reasonably priced IMO. I was particularly surprised at the quality of the matcha tea and the milk teas were great too, with a nice distinct tea flavor. Tapioca pearls are also included with the drinks by default which doesn’t seem like a big deal but I’ve seen places that charge extra just for that so wanted to shout out that too. I also really like their appetizer menu, I’ve never seen any other boba place that serves stuff like egg tarts, gyoza, or crepe cakes. Tried the matcha cake and it was awesome (a bit pricey, but considering how it was actually tasty and no where else remotely close by serves it, it was worth it) Excited to try the other stuff especially the egg tarts at some point.

As an added bonus, they have free water, plentiful tables (and really comfy couches!), outlets next to tables, board games, free wifi, and stays open decently late. Personally I think the owner or whoever was in charge of the design of the place put a lot of thought into this place for the comfort and convenience of customers and it really shows. Really hope this place does well, definitely going to be coming back often!

This was my second visit. I don’t recall the first being particularly memorable, but unfortunately, today’s experience left a lot to be desired.

The atmosphere and setup of the place are nice—definitely a spot where you’d want to sit down and relax for a while. However, the customer service fell short. There was no greeting upon arrival, and it felt impersonal having to place my order on a screen while a staff member stood idly behind the counter.

Additionally, the staff member seemed unaware of the orders in front of her—I had to clarify if an item was part of my order, and she didn’t seem to know (it was not busy during my visit). Another customer left upset and without their order due to the lack of communication. Even more disappointing, after the customer left, the staff member shouted to her coworker about what had just transpired—and laughed! Not professional at all.

Lastly, the employee had their midriff exposed while working—not necessarily a deal breaker but just adds to lack of professionalism.

Overall, nice setting, but the service clearly needs improvement.
