The food here is not bad but not great. I did enjoy one of the beef dishes (maybe the beef with pepper, not sure), but in general, the portion sizes are very small for the price. The service was not great but fine: the woman at the front counter was on her phone most of the time and didn’t seem to be helping out much.

This is a local Cantonese yum cha type of restaurant. I just tried the ma po tofu and it was quite good. I should have asked them to make it using ma la spices to make it authentic. Will try other dishes soon. Lunch special prices are reasonable. Normal dishes are +$16 per entree. There is plenty of parking. In this strip mall. This appears to be a small Asian cuisine operation which we should support these days of bland chain restaurants.

Chef is amazing at cooking Cantonese Dishes and keeps his prices low for customers. No MSG. Makes special dishes too at request. Hole in the wall spot; though someone please give him a renovation!

Paying $15 for Full box of steam rice, Feel stupid to order this, total 7 pieces of “finger meat” mostly is bone, even chicken wing they cut in 3 pieces, the total meat is less than 3 chicken nuggets, I DO NOT recommend to anyone who has brain.

Ordered Peking Duck and Snow Pea leaves for take out. The Peking duck is super flavorful and comes with mini steamed buns. It was also presented well for take out. The whole family really enjoyed both dishes. We will be back when we come to town again.

First of all we finally tried this Chinese food there to go & were very disappointed. I don’t understand why you would make sesame chicken skinny like McDonald’s French fry’s & have the chicken battered & deep fried making the chicken tough & hard to chew also the shrimp in lobster sauce only had 9 shrimp per order. I have never had Chinese food & not had leftovers, but this place the portions were so small this place must be hurting to do this & sell there chicken like shoe strings onions. Needed to give a warning to other first time customers.

The worker is so kind and has a good energy. The duck was good and I would like to go back.

This place is one of my family’s favorites and, in my opinion, a hidden gem in the South Bay for authentic Cantonese food. The chef is an older gentleman who miraculously cooks by himself for the entire restaurant. The eggplant stirfry, beef with green onions, and hot and sour soup are some of my favorites.

Tiny mom and pop Chinese cafe in Rolling Hills Plaza, just around the corner from Trader Joe’s. Great home-cooked taste. We especially enjoyed the mapo tofu and duck. The walnut shrimp and garlic eggplant were also quite tasty. The portions are generous enough that we were able to take home enough for another couple of meals. We will be back to sample other dishes!

You know how I know this place is good? When you go in and nobody in the restaurant is speaking English. They offer really good, authentic Chinese cuisine in a no frills environment. Do not come here if your idea of Chinese food is chicken named after a General. Do come here if you want a more genuine experience, and perhaps to try something new. Enjoy!
