This place is real good. I see a lot of people coming in and out as I was eating in there. They have a little counter with about three or four stools and you can eat in there. It’s moderately priced. They’ve got a wide variety of sandwiches and other things in there. Lot of baked goods a lot of vegan items for people that are vegan. They have a number of different meat items. The music is a little too loud in there so just to let you know that they could probably turn the music down a little bit. But overall it’s a pretty neat looking place. It’s located near public transportation. The 81 Lawrence bus is real close to that and the brown line is about a half a block away.

Nhu Lan has the best banh mi sandwiches in Chicago. Their BBQ tofu is amazing. Their spring rolls are also delicious.

Ok first let me state I been eating Vietnamese food since the 80s so I do know a bit of this food by now. I must say the bread was fantastic the bbq pork was a bit dry and not enough for 10.00 dollars. I asked for the sauce with peanut she claim she didn’t have any so it was a bit dry. Overall a bit pricey for a sandwich at 11.00 but there is a solution I noticed they sell the bbq pork by portion for 13.00 will buy that next time with the bread and create my own.

I ordered through Uber eats and I was so satisfied with my order. They gave really generous servings at a reasonable price and the dished were also very delicious. Even the sauce were generous and the toppings for the soup too. They had the biggest Spring rolls I ever ordered so far for only $5+. Superb food!!!

Not that cheap, but if you want a counter serve banh mi in the area, it’s basically your only choice. Go to Asia on Argyle if you want the best, go here if you want something decent.

My goodness…if you haven’t had a Bahn mi, this is the place for it!! Great sandwiches, and judging by the constant customer flow…people besides me know this is a great place for lunch. No dining in, but it is goooooood food.
