Waited over an hour for food for two of us (sushi and a hibachi combo) which came out dry and practically inedible. It took them over 40 minutes to even start making the hibachi per our waitress. We didn’t ask for anything or complain, but the waitress felt horrible about the wait/food and tried to get the meal comped but the manager refused. Had they comped it and showed they felt bad and wanted to make it right we probably would have given it another shot. We definitely won’t ever be back, and will tell others the same. It is too bad, given we are loyal patrons of most other EG restaurants. Do yourself a favor and go to Raku Sakura right down the street for higher quality food and atmosphere.

1st time here will be back. Told my friends and family about it and they will be visiting soon. Like any other Japanese steakhouse expect to pay some money but enjoy the experience. Had the steak and shrimp perfectly cooked. The fried rice was great along with the cooked vegetables. Even tastes good the next day for lunch because you will be taking some food home because they offer nice portions.

Came here for the first time tonight. We waited over an hour for our meals to come out. For a $28 meal the rice was dry, steak was over cooked, and vegetables were flavorless. Our waitress was super nice about it and tried to get the meal comped which would have been all we needed to give this place another chance. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and we left dissatisfied. Do yourself a favor and go to Raku Sakura down the street!

I had made a reservation for a part of 9, which included 2 birthday guests. Once the waitress took our drinks it all went down hill from there. We placed our order and waited 45 minutes for a chef to come to the hibachi table. They had a party in a private room so the establishment was overwhelmed. Once the chef made it to our table we weee asked several times about what we had. He then started to give the wrong meals to people. They forgot to give us our noodles we ordered and we had to track down someone to give 2 people the white rice that was ordered. I can’t even talk about the portion size. A few people ordered drinks but we had to cancel the order because we were leaving and still hadn’t received the drinks. If you are looking for a quality hibachi with great service. DO NOT GO HERE we paid a hefty price for this terrible service.

If you have any food allergies you need to be very vigilant here. I had called a few days ago to see if they could accommodate a gluten and dairy allergy. They assured me that it could be done and a few things would be subbed out but not an issue. When we got to the restaurant we told our server and she looked a little confused but seemed to work it out, when the chef got to the grill I reminded him we were gluten and dairy free, he too seemed confused so I said no gluten and no butter to which he started yelling at the waitress to have our meals prepared in the back. Had I known it was going to be that way we would have gone to the hibatchi restaurant closer to our house, but we wanted the experience. The waitress was very nice, but it was a bit of an ordeal

This place is an embarrassment to hibachi. I know that seems harsh, but it was awful. All members of our party left hungry after everything we ordered was undercooked. Our chef, while kind, clearly didn’t care about his job.

Delicious sushi! We had a variety of sushi rolls and they were amazing, as well as the seated sashimi salad. All fresh and well prepared.

I don’t normally give bad reviews. But this place was awful. They cook their meat and fish first. Which is completely backwards from any other hibachi I’ve ever eaten at. The food sucked. They don’t serve yum-yum sauce. It was pricey too. Never again!!!!

We were on a 17 people group and in was kind of fun. I ordered the steak and chicken combo. Left hungry. The fried rice had only had two eggs for 8 people, aside from the soy sauce. No additional ingredients. The lobster is tiny for what you pay. There were 2 small sirloins to be divided, I would say to be 8oz, for 5 people. And 2 half chicken breasts for 6. Portions are tiny. You pay $30 for a plate, but basically you pay for the spatula show and the saki squirt, if you like that sorta thing. Most likely not returning unless I am in a group and want to have fun.

The restaurant has a section for sushi and the other half is hibachi. We had sushi, it was just ok. The bench seat backing in the booth I was seated was broken and it annoyed the person behind me, who responded by bumping me back. The service was ok, with difficulty answering questions about the menu. It was easy to get in without a wait.
