Had my first Beef Sate soup here. I don’t have any comparison, but it’s undoubtedly a hearty soup that has very generous portions of meat!
Came back twice more and tried their pho and vermicelli which were excellent as well.
Service is very quick and friendly – not something you’d expect in other Viet restaurants in the city.
This will be my undisputed number one spot anytime I’m craving Viet cuisine!

I ordered Vietnamese Beef Stew Rice Noodles. The soup is outstanding which comes with many meats and carrots.
It is one of the best Pho in Calgary. Their new shop on 17 ave has better atmosphere than their old shop on Madra Loop.
In additionally, don’t forget to grab your glass of water. The water using in the shop is not ordinary filtered tape. They installed a Japanese water system— Enagic Kagan Water.

This is my all time favourite place to get pho in Calgary! Started going here when I was a child, when they were located in marda loop and then stopped, a few months ago my husband and I were looking for a good place to go on a pho date, I remembered how good this place was and suggested we go here. We were both astonished by the atmosphere! The workers were so incredibly friendly and the food was top tier! I find myself craving their classic pho everyday single week so I keep coming back! The customer service here is unmatched! Weather we are eating in or taking it out, they always treat us with such respect and kindness. THANK YOU!!

I’m Vietnamese and have tried many pho spots in Calgary looking for a taste that truly reminds me of home — and Nho SaiGon is by far the best! The portions are generous, and the broth is incredibly rich and flavourful. Their menu offers a wide variety of authentic dishes, and the service is always attentive and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Vietnamese pho!

Excellent foods! The best Phở to order if you’re a foodie ( especially if you love meat, rib and flank very juicy ) and my personal favourite! Name: Nho SaiGon. It been in town for over 15years. It is a huge portion and taste of beef ( not from MSG kind of cheating ). There no additional fee for sate sauce like some other restaurants and can’t even get it refill. Great service as usual, you will not be disappointed

Once again, my good friend Patricia has introduced me to another great Vietnamese restaurant with terrific food and service. I was also delighted to meet her friend My Le who has been a long time customer of Nho Saigon which was originally located in Marda Loop. They recently moved to the current location which used to be another Vietnamese restaurant named CoDo. I’m glad they took over because the owner has certainly upgraded the restaurant as well as the food. We tried a huge variety of dishes and one of my new favorites is the Pho with a Beef Back Rib which I haven’t seen served anywhere else. The menu is quite extensive and they have vegetarian options as well so we’ll be back to introduce this place to more friends in the future.

They have one of the best beef pho Saté I’ve had in the city. It has real peanut bits with a mild spicy kick. This pho is loaded with beef! Service was fast and the staff are always attentive to your needs. Plenty of parking surrounding the store.

The portion sizes are large, and the staff should remind customers to be cautious when ordering. The environment features many homeless individuals, which can make the neighborhood feel unsafe for walking.
