If you’re looking for a wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend this place! They serve the best pizza and the most delicious Persian-style kebab in the area. You can truly taste the freshness in all their dishes, which makes a big difference. The owner and staff are exceptionally warm and respectful, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It’s a perfect spot for anyone who loves Mediterranean-style food. I can’t recommend it enough!

I did not get cucumber in my salad. I did miss some classic accompaniments such as mast o khiar, butter sumac until request and the Persian salad with the radish and onion parsley etc but it was pretty good otherwise..it was giving more of a Mediterranean flavor.

This was a solid meal! I was so hungry that I decided to do a mini feast for myself. The lamb chops were char-grilled perfectly and actually very tender. The rice was tasty with some saffron, the salad was fresh and the grilled Roma tomato on the side was delicious too. I would definitely return here and I hope to receive consistent quality with other meals as well. I tried this as a 1st time visitor and I was not disappointed at all. Very nice staff. I ate all of it for the most part.

This is an excellent Persian food. Everything is so perfect. The Kobeda is excellent, the lamb chops, the amazing Persian rice and most importantly the pizza! Only the people from Iran or Iraq will understand how good it is. When I tasted it, the smell took me back to my hometown. All in all everything is perfect and I strongly recommend this place to whomever interested in Persian food

A great spot in Charlotte to enjoy delicious Persian cuisine! The atmosphere is calm and friendly with very positive vibes. The food is incredibly tasty and feels just like homemade cooking. Don’t miss out on anything here—especially the koobideh kebab with saffron rice, the amazing shishlik kebab, and the handcrafted Iranian doogh (yogurt drink). Our first experience here was wonderful and enjoyable, and we will definitely be coming back again and again.

Best Persian food I’ve ever had! I lived in DC and tried many places but nothing compares to here…literally everything was perfect and tasted amazing. What makes this place even better is the owner and how passionate she is to cook excellent food and ensure everyone is happy. Highly recommend this place and will be back soon.

I’m a truck driver and stopped here with my bobtail for lunch, and I have to say this restaurant is absolutely amazing. I ordered several skewers of chicken kabobs along with extra rice and kashk-e-bademjan, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
I’m really grateful for their warm hospitality and the chance to speak in my own language while here in the U.S. This place left me with a great feeling, and I genuinely wish them the best success. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere.

I must say Athens Pizza & Kabobs are the best! I had the chicken kabob and love it, nice touch withthe grilled tomato. I like to cut it up and mix into the rice. The different sauces they give for are just delicious and tasted homemade. Finally, their homemade tiramisu dessert was divine!

Athens P&K is out on Old Monroe in a tiny shopping center in Matthews. The door is in the back in case you’re looking for a way in.
We’ve been here twice. The kabobs are the star of the show. The Koobideh is moist with good flavor. The Chicken Kabobs are part of the combo if you want to mix it up. They come with rice and salad. There’s better pizza in the area but if you’re in the mood go for it. The fries were crispy and hot out of the fryer on both our visits.
Parking is simple. It hasn’t been really crowded on our visits so no worries there. There aren’t many places in the Charlotte area that serve authentic Persian-style kabobs. It’s worth a trip if you have a craving for Koobideh.

My partner and I have been here multiple times over the last two years and the quality has been always AMAZING. We love this place and highly recommend. I always try Arian’s wrap:
– Grab a small piece of bread
– Spread over hummus sauce
– Place a piece of basil and chicken kabob on top of sauce
– Add a bit of feta cheese on top!!
You will enjoy the magic! 🙂
Do not forget enjoyable freshly brewed tea with hand-cut sugar cubes for the full Persian experience!
