The reason I have this place a 1 star rating is because the food is not good. I asked The 5 people I came here with and we all agreed that it should be given one star. The only reason to come here would be sushi and none of us eat sushi. The salad looked and tasted like a horror show, the lo mein was bad, the Nguyen special was over cooked, the lobster was rubbery and the steak was cut up into little pieces with no flavor and was tough, the orange shrimp’s batter was soggy and the shrimp was again, overcooked. No one liked their food. The only edible food is the sushi because there is no way to mess it up. Don’t get me wrong, the place is beautiful, but their food is terrible and they will hopefully learn how to cook food properly.

Delicious! I’ve been here a couple times in the last couple months. The staff are very friendly. The food is delicious. It’s usually not busy in there, but the dining area is really clean and nicely decorated.

I cannot say enough about Nguyen and it’s owners!! We absolutely love their food from the days of their first restaurant down in Pgh area, and make the drive from the South Hills several times a year to indulge in their incredible food. Sushi and fish is FRESH and everything else divine.

New ownership has led to a major plummet in quality of ingredients and restaurant atmosphere but with the same prices. We’ve returned twice since the changeover and both times were very disappointed. My husband and I used to order three rolls of sushi for around $50 and it was outstanding. Now we receive gas station quality sushi for $50.

I visited one time and only ordered a few sushi rolls. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as cold as I prefer my sushi to be. The server was very nice and attentive. The pricing in line with most of its kind. The dining area and restrooms clean and the atmosphere pleasant.

This honestly is one of my favorite places to eat. They have a great place, great staff, and great food. I especially love their sushi, it’s always incredibly delicious every single time. I really can’t say anything bad about this place. If you’re in the mood for some great sushi here is the place to go.

Everything was inedible. The woman chef working was very polite but you can tell was very overwhelmed. It took 1 hour and 45 mins to receive our sushi… we were the only people there (cause everyone that came left with disgust) Something as simple as broccoli in my entree was still very undercooked. The rice for sushi wasn’t even sticky. It tasted like minute rice. Our dumplings tasted like I grabbed them right out of the freezer at Walmart. That aside, I had to hear them break down and complain about the 2 separate parties that had came and left cause the food was so bad. So I can only imagine how they felt about us. I will never go back there. My family loved the previous owners. Don’t EVER go there now. Just came down to bad food and unprofessional staff.

Ordered sushi for takeout. My 2 favorite rolls are the caterpillar & spicy tiger. The employees were very friendly. My sushi was fresh & tasted just like it did years ago when I first tried it & fell in love with it! I will keep coming back for sure!

December 30, 2021. Our first time visiting the new “Nguyens Fusion Bistro” (under new management since 2020). Will NEVER be back unfortunately. They told us to make a reservation then we were the only 2 in there (we should’ve left right then & there!) The place is disgusting, down to the menus. I didn’t even want to touch them. The glasses she brought were even filthy. The bathroom is awful, literally facial hair all over the sink. Toilet was filth. They must be living there or something. The sushi was the worst we’ve ever had. The rice didn’t stay together and it just LOOKED gross. Our check was literally greasy notepad paper. For $80 in sushi? Not acceptable. The woman chef was polite, that’s the only positive thing I’ll say. So disappointed because Nguyens was always our go to sushi spot.

Ordered take out for the first time and purchased about $80 worth of food. Everything was practically inedible. The chicken teriyaki tasted nothing like teriyaki and the chicken itself was overdone and salty, the fried rice was even overcooked and salty, the sushi and sashimi were bland, even my salad was taken over by the taste of raw ginger, the dumplings were nothing like I’ve ever seen (they were literally a paper thin wonton wrapper filled with pork, folded in half and fried. The pork filling was ok but the wrapper was like burn flaky paper dripping in oil). We didn’t even get everything we purchased. We won’t be returning. My husband and I LOVE asian food but this was not it.
