Great Asian find while on a ski weekend. Will definitely return to test other menu options. Everything ordered was fantastic. Ordered the Curry Ramen with a spicy factor of 3…next time will push to 4. Ordered a few sushi rolls…all were terrific. My kids crushed everything they ordered which was bonus. Service was quick but never rushed. Homerun!

The food was delicious, the ambiance was great, and the service was amazing!
We ordered gluten-free noodles for my son, but we were given regular noodles. We suspected it after noticing the texture and informed the server. She apologized and replaced the dish right away, and the chef even came out three times to apologize. They also didn’t charge us for the gluten-free meal.

Nguyen’s Asian Grill was the perfect stop after a long day of skiing! We ordered the hibachi and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. It has become our favorite spot whenever we visit Boone because the food is consistently fresh and full of flavor. The service is always friendly and fast. Highly recommend!

The service is great but food just tastes bad…. I ordered stir-fry udon with veggies and chicken, and it tastes like someone tipped over the soy sauce bottle when cooking – way too salty!! Many flavors can be found in this dish – oily, sweet and weirdly some five spice, but only one strong theme – salty. I understand that this type of cuisine can be heavily seasoned, but these seasonings just create an imbalance flavor… lastly, the texture of the food is very weird. The chicken is very dry and the carrots are very soggy not crispy at all. Some might like it this way, that’s fair, but why would the chef sweeten the carrots with sugar or honey?? I came in at late hours, but this cooking really makes me wonder if they just pour all the remaining seasoning on this dish since they are closing soon…. I paid $30 for this.. I deeply regretted dining here.

A little gem of a restaurant. Loved the atmosphere including the mini aquarium with tiny fish and bamboo on each table. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Entrees (chicken and shrimp teriyaki and hibachi) delicious and plentiful…enough for two meals! Service was friendly and super efficient. We will be back every time we come to Banner Elk! Well done!!!

Such a great find. Cute little restaurant with friendly, welcoming service. Anyone saying otherwise is just trying to create problems.
It is about as comfy as a restaurant can be.
Food is unique, and feels like mom made at home. Great flavors!

We enjoyed our meal. The interior is very nice and decorated with an Asian flair. The best part about this restaurant was the service. The wait staff was really on top of everything. Order was taken quickly and food was brought out in a timely manner. Bathrooms were clean. The parking lot is gravel and plenty of parking. We started with a green salad with ginger dressing. We had veggie spring rolls which we ok. The rolls were thicker pastry than ones I had in the past. We enjoyed a tempura shrimp roll. It was very good and plated nicely. We had a hibachi style veggie meal with fried rice. It was good. There was a side of carrots included that was not very good, very mushy.
