Soup and sandwich was really good. The kids Mac and Cheese was good portions. A little more noisy of a place, so good to bring kids. The bar that is set up for the extras and pickles is fantastic idea. Self service drinks, but they do bring the food to the table.

Wasn’t sure, what to expect. It was actually very good. One of the better French dips that I have had. Potato soup was pretty good also. Loved the atmosphere. Crackers or croutons for your soup. This place is well thought out. Didn’t try the dessert, but they looked wonderful too. Going back.

It was our first time eating at Newks. I had the French dip which was delicious! My son got a pepperoni pizza and loved it as well. Its a nice little eatery with a ton of options. Excited to try something new next time I visit.

I haven’t been to Newk’s in a LONG while, I guess I had forgotten about it. A coworker mentioned it and I really wanted some soup. Y’all, let me tell you, that’s the best potato soup I’ve gotten from a restaurant. The sandwich was delicious, too. I got the French dip sandwich.

The personnel at this location make the whole experience enjoyable. The cashier was soft spoken but knowledgeable, and the managers were friendly and extremely helpful. Everyone that I encountered this evening made the whole dining experience a pleasure.

Newk’s Eatery on Mall Drive in Texarkana is consistently great. There is a wide variety of menu options….from tiny pizzas for little ones to soups and salads and amazing entrees. It’s clean and there are numerous small things that make this restaurant extra special….free cracker-like breadsticks at the condiment station and fresh-cut lemons for your tea and water at the beverage station. The service is also great. The Manager walks around and checks on you to ensure you have everything you need. There is something for everyone at this restaurant and all of it is very tasty and appealing to the eye.

This is the first time I’ve eaten inside the restaurant. I’ve had the sandwiches before but always delivered. On this trip, I ordered the Summer Berry salad. It was fabulous!! Everything was so fresh. The lemon dressing that came with it, however, was not tasty to me. It had an overwhelming basil flavor. I ended up getting an Italian vinegarette. It was delicious! The sweet tea made with Splenda is also delicious. Highly recommend the summer salad, but all of their food, no matter the selection, is delicious.

Called an order in to pickup. Was ready a couple of minutes early. We were greeted by the preparer as she put the order up for pickup. Food quality and taste was outstanding.
