We have eaten here twice, the food for the most part is ok to good, some sandwiches look better than others.

Training. Seems like the cashiers got very little training as they struggle to get orders in the system or get them wrong (both visits).
To be a brand new restaurant in town, they need to have more than ONE cashier at lunch time on a Sunday,
Also, to be a new restaurant, they have many things (soda fountain) already out-of-order.
I hope they work all this kinks soon as the food is not bad, but the service could be better.

Paid about 6 dollars for overcooked pasta. The pasta was stringy, melty, gooey, and overdone with the sauce base. The taste was foul and extremely off. I gagged after taste testing it. I had this same dish awhile back when I first came here and it was never like this. At that time, I gave them good review, but the last two experiences were not good and today sealed the deal so I am changing my rating.This is the first time I ever gagged tasting something from a fast food place. This place used to be decent but went downhill quickly. There is a reason this place is nowadays often “dead” and when places are discussed to eat at among friends, Newks is never brought up as a viable option. I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for this. Completely unacceptable and I won’t be back after this experience. Happened at 3:20pm on 3/17/24.

Ordered online for my husband and I and went through drive through to pick it up and waited in line for 26 minutes, left drive through and went inside, they were nice but grabbed the order. (I should of double checked our order before we left) But after paying nearly $50 for two people, my husband was missing his full sub. We called and she prompted to give us a refund for it but just overall as our first experience definitely not going back. My food was okay the sandwich was very bland I got the turkey avocado and just not a great tasting sub. Just not a great first experience.

The food is great but the service is so horrible that it keeps me from returning. There is always a long wait with no urgency, mass confusion at the drive through counter, my simple order has never been correct, even after multiple corrections, and the staff is not friendly at all. I am easy to please, and this is my first negative review, but it is well warranted.

I love this place. everything time i’m in fort smith i come here. plus when you order anything you get points and the more points you have, you are able to get free drinks or food! overall it’s the freshest place in fort smith!!
