Good food, fast friendly service. Pizza was excellent. Mac and cheese was excellent. Philly was excellent. Carmel cake was excellent. Red velvet cake was excellent. Get the picture? Not sure why this place wasn’t packed at dinner time on Saturday, but it’s surely not because of the food. If I lived here I’d definitely be back again and again…

Newk’s in Starkville is a favorite lunch date spot for my wife and I because the food is turned around quickly, the location is clean and pleasant, and everyone is kind and courteous. Pictured are my go-to meal choices nearly every time we visit: a whole Turkey Avocado sandwich on Wheat Berry bread and a half Newk’s Favorite Salad. Delicious. It leaves me feeling satisfied without feeling heavy. It’s on the pricier side of fast casual (we spent $50 on this visit with tip) but the nutritious options and atmosphere make it worth it to me.

The French Dip was excellent—tender beef with caramelized onions and a flavorful horseradish sauce on their delicious bread, served with rich au jus for dipping. The Chicken Club was just as impressive, packed with fresh ingredients and great flavor.
Their mac and cheese was perfectly rich and creamy, and the side salad was fresh and beautifully presented. Everything was well-prepared and satisfying.

Ok ya’ll, let me tell ya about Newk’s Eatery! Our son and daughter wanted to treat my Mom, their grandma out for a lite lunch. We of course choose Newk’s. This Eatery has a very pleasant atmosphere and such a cute design. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and gave us such great service! Their friendly smiles and attentiveness to customers was great! Now let’s get to the food ya’ll. We ordered a shrimp poboy w/fresh fruit, a philly steak sandwich w/ coleslaw, a pepperoni and sausage pizza, and the Italian sandwich w/pasta salad. When we tell you good, we mean good! Oh my son said their comeback sauce with the shrimp poboy was saucing Newk’s is a great spot for ya’ll to go and have good food and experience good service, so give them a try!

Definitely the best deli in the neighbourhood. The hand tossed pizzas are the best. The size is not that big, compared to the price. But the quality is too good. The sandwiches are also very good, with very good quality bread and meat and cheese. However, I must say that the portion size is little less than whatever you pay. But the quality is too good. The 5-cheese Mac and cheese as a side is the best mac and cheese ever. The soup is also very nice. The chocolate cake is not excellent, but mediocre. The size is big, but too sugary.
