Easily the best pizza in Joplin and surrounds. I’ve dined in-restaurant several times having various pizzas, apps and salads. My favs are the Peroni beer ON TAP, burrata caprese salad, rucola pizza. I keep telling myself I’ll try the sandwiches but i cant quit eating their pizza. Always delicious and fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly, attentive and in my opinion, add to the experience. Well appointed and clean inside.

Had no idea what to expect but was really impressed with everything this place has to offer! Our server Eric was friendly and knowledgeable and definitely on top of anything we needed. The pizza was freaking delicious! Crust was perfect and definitely new York style. We had the white and added ricotta, basil, and tomatoes and it was perfect. We will be back and look forward to trying more things!

New York Pizza was our second choice for takeout pizza tonight because it’s further away, and after the website for the Chicago pizza place didn’t like my credit card. No problems here and after my order was secured, I headed over to pick it up.
New York Pizza is closer to the city center of Joplin. They have some parking spots out front designated for pickup but there are also spots across the street and a large parking lot (which I’ve reviewed).
The pizza arrived back at home in excellent condition. Light, crunchy and chewy thin crust. Great flavorful toppings and a delicious sauce. I really should have gotten a larger pie as Mrs. K. ended up eating three slices from this one, it was that good. Great Neapolitan style and very tasty, we’ll get this one again in Joplin.

I’ve been to NYC multiple times and I always hit up the pizza places, and I still think this pizza is the best I’ve ever had. No, that’s not hyperbole—it’s unbelievably good! The crust has an impeccable crisp and taste, the sauce is perfectly light and not too sweet, and the cheese is so full of flavor. The pepperoni is juicy and bold! For any early dinner, we were craving pizza and decided to try NYPD down in the bar district of Joplin. After the first bite, we were hooked and delightfully surprise! The meatballs were at a good size and very hearty! Nothing fake about them. We ordered the Silian style square pizza with NYPD toppings. The pepperoni and the Italian sausage was nothing we ever had before. NYDP is not your “run of the mill” average Joe pizza joint. The pizza crust was the perfect combination of soft and crunchy. Folks can watch the cook flip the pizza dough into the air. The only complaint that I had was there wasn’t any root beer on tap. NYPD has a good and clean atmosphere with quick and friendly service. A great place to grab a bite and relax. We will be back!
