In response to Susan’s review that complained about the poor delivery: That isn’t the restaurant’s fault, but that of either the driver, the app issuing multiple orders attached to yours, or your lack of tip, which causes drivers to deny it until enough base pay is added to it. For an order like yours a $20 tip would’ve most likely avoided such issues, as only the poorest quality drivers would accept anything less. Only the worst of the worst would handle pizzas that way. These apps truly need to do a better job vetting these drivers.
In response to the owner: Sorry, but my mind is made up and there is nothing you can do now to appease me. But you should seriously replace the pizza maker and lower the price for your own sake.
Allan & I were in the mood for a pizza lunch, so New York Pizza and Pints was the place to go!
It did not disappoint!
Allan ordered his Hawaiian Canadian bacon & pineapple pizza slice, and I ordered a cheese slice. These “Slices” are ENORMOUS and so plentiful, I cut it in half for dinner tonight.
The Lunch Special is $9.50 for a pizza slice the size of Allan’s head, a salad (Also HUGE) and a drink. The soft drinks are #STUBBORN. I rarely drink a soft drink, but today, I’m all in! Stubborn Rootbeer has no caffeine and tastes absolutely delicious!
My salad was soooo large, I asked for a to go container. I knew if I ate my salad, I wouldn’t be able to eat my slice of pizza. Wise choice!
My salad held up so great at dinnertime. Even with croutons in it, my salad was super crunchy, and the Ranch dressing was fantastic! You know it’s all fresh produce when the salad has been boxed, gone shopping for hours then refrigerated and eaten 7 hours later. It was as fresh as when it was placed in front of me at the restaurant. My pizza slice was perfection.
Great lunch. Super deal and I must add, a great dinner too! We’ll done NY Pizza & Pints!

Update – 3rd visit
The first two visits were great. Today – not so great.
Consistency – This is what is so important to restaurants.
Today’s $8.99 lunch special was overbaked, hard, dry, not piping hot, and had no gooey cheese.
When my pizza slice arrived, Allan said, “It’s burnt.” It wasn’t burnt, but it was “darkened.” I ate some of it and left the majority of it to be tossed.
Too bad. A 50/50 chance of a great lunch vs. a disappointing lunch is not for me; I never gamble.
When it was good, it was very good.
But when it was bad, it was bad.

First time at New York Pizza & Pints, and we were absolutely impressed!
I was told the pizzas were big, but I wasn’t prepared to see a 2-FOOT WIDE pizza! Angel is the store manager, super friendly, providing great customer service.
One thing I always do is check out the ladies’ room; AND I send Allan to check the men’s room. Rarely does Allan report a clean restroom, so I was very happy to hear the men’s restroom was spotless! And, the ladies’ restroom was immaculate!
Two big screen TV’s are above the bar where they feature the Four Bullets Richardson Brewery. Walking in, one immediately notices the multi-level rows of Growlers available for purchase. I’ve listed the prices in the photos. Next time, I’ll pick one up. STUBBORN Soda is served here, and I had the BEST creamy Rootbeer everrrr! We also ordered a bottle of wine; Pinot Noir Joliesse, and enjoyed it with our pizza. The bottle sells for $18 or can be sold by the glass at $7.99.
(Happy Hour is M-F, 3-6)
I ordered the “Lunch Special” – 1 enormous slice of pizza, side salad with homemade croutons, and a drink. All for only $8.99
My pepperoni pizza was great! The crust was crispy on the very bottom and doughy soft inside. The sauce is not sweet, and I’m thrilled b/c I’m not a fan of sugar sweet sauce. I really wanted to order a Margherita pizza, but Allan only orders Hawaiian, so next time, I need a buddy to share the Margherita pizza!
Delivery is available by Uber Eats, Grub Hub, & Door Dash.
FYI: The boxes for the pizzas are a 28-inch square, and the Supreme Pizza weighs 25 lbs!
Is that big enough for you? Trust me –
It’s BIG enough for Big Tex!
