You know I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt before coming online with the truth, but simply refunding me my money wasn’t an option. So here we are. I ordered catfish, which is disguised and sold as SWAI! The jumbo shrimp are buy-out pre breaded average sized butterfly shrimp from your grocers freezer. Bad business guys. I called to inform them of their error (which I already knew they KNEW) but just to give them a chance to rectify, but when I asked for a refund he instead offered an exchange for another item. Sir I don’t want the items I have let alone something else being mis-advertised as something that it’s not. This sucks! I’ll never go back. It’s otherwise a clean establishment with very friendly and professional staff. This is just not the way to run a food service business of any kind and this is how they choose to operate. He also claimed that I’m the first to call them out on the catfish not being the real thing, never once denied it and that their regular customers like the taste. I’m sure they’d love it even more if you just told them it’s SWAI and frozen processed shrimp! Hard earned money gone to waste!

I honestly don’t even know where to start because this place completely blew me away. You can instantly tell there’s a whole new energy since the new owners took over. Everything from the food to the vibe to the service feels refreshed, upgraded, and done with real passion.
First off, the menu is INSANE in the best way possible. You can tell the new owners came in and said, “Let’s really do this right.” The flavors are bold, fresh, and straight-up addictive. The sliders are absolutely unreal perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. And don’t even get me started on the beef burger chopped cheese… WOW. It’s hands down one of the best I’ve had. Cooked perfectly, loaded with flavor, and made exactly how a chopped cheese should b comfort food at its finest.
Everything tasted fresh, hot, and made with care. Not rushed. Not sloppy. Just quality food done right.
Now let’s talk about the service because that’s just as important. Sam, the new manager, is AWESOME. Super welcoming, respectful, and genuinely cares about customers. You can tell he takes pride in the place and wants everyone to leave happy. That kind of leadership really shows, and it makes the whole experience even better.
The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and has a great vibe overall. You feel good supporting a place that actually cares about what they’re serving and the people they’re serving it to.
If you’re thinking about trying this spot DO IT. If you’ve been here before under the old ownership, come back ASAP because this is a whole different level now. New ownership, crazy good new menu items, better quality, better service. everything is upgraded.

My very picky kiddo loved the chicken & rice here. It had flavorful seasonings, nice presentation, and was a very generous portion. We hadn’t planned on spending a few hours here, but we had car trouble and had to wait for a tow truck. The men who work here / owners(?) were so nice to us. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

So originally my cousin told me about how good this place was & it was lunch time so I said why not? I love how clean it is when you walk in + their bathrooms are spotless. Also I love how this is a family owned business so not only is the service 10/10, but the food & the price(s) you pay for your food are affordable & worth it. If you’re in the neighborhood looking for something good & Lowkey, they are on my list.

Ordered online for pickup. Didn’t have to wait very long. Everything was made fresh and tasted delicious. The Mac & Cheese was creamy and cheesy and goes great with hot sauce. The Collard Greens had the perfect amount of vinegar and broth. The staff were very helpful and polite and assisted me with all my questions.

Pains me to change my view on the place but they have changed not so long ago and I want to be the first to say your wait time is RIDICULOUS, the store will be almost empty and it still takes them 30 minutes to warm up a couple pieces of chicken and for a sub sometimes it takes 45. I really hope you guys go back to how you use to be because I went from a regular customer to someone who refuses to go now.

The 4 pc CHICKEN BOX hit the spot!! Honestly up there with the best, I was pleasantly surprised! Great flavor, great crisp, good size. Chicken was fall of the bone tender. Breading was not super thick but still had that great crunch! Also the price point was on point.
