OK, so I am writing this because I purchased food last 03/21/24. The food was good, I also ordered sweet potato pies and peach cobbler. I open my sweet potato pie the next 03/22/24. They were in the fridge. When I opened them, it was black stuff on the top and white stuff on the top of the other one. I did call the store to let them know. They should check their sweet potato pies, and the gentleman on the phone said that they do not make the pies they order with them already made in the package. But they may be holding them in the store too long. I’m sharing to future customers, check your food, and smell it.

I love this place! This is my favorite comfort food restaurant.
It’s 100% HALAL!
This is the place where Halal eaters can go crazy when they crave fast food type of food, they can eat Cheeseburgers, sandwiches and lot more.
I think here I tried my 1st Philly cheesestake sandwich, beef patty, KFC type of chicken, banana pudding, chicken fingers.
We like very much their Chicken over rice, grilled chicken salad.
The menu is big and all tastes delicious.
The guys behind the counter are very courtesy all the time.
Open till late night.
Very popular place for everyone.
Prices are very fair.
Just note, there is no bathroom
There is no place to wash Hands. That’s a downside.

This is unnecessarily expensive fast food restaurant. The staff is rude and disrespectful. Moreover, the chicken i bought was not fresh, it had foul smell and taste.

They are extremely racist. I came here late one night, around 1–2am, but they were clearly open. I’m a Black woman and was with my Hispanic friend. As soon as we walked in, an angry looking man sweeping and the man at the register started speaking in Arabic while staring at us—no greeting, no acknowledgment. My friend happens to understand Arabic and later told me they were making negative comments about us. He even responded back in Arabic, and the shock on their faces said it all.
Unfortunately, I only learned what was said after we had already placed our order—otherwise I would’ve left immediately. Consider this a PSA to other Black folks: be mindful of where you spend your money in Jersey City. The food isn’t even that good to lose a customer who actually is a local resident. Haven’t been back since.

Spacious place… Clean inside.. counter guy was friendly.. quick service + freshly made stuff.. bought a double cheese, fried chicken and some gyros.. taste was too good.. i loved the burger.. it was just awesome.. getting 5 from me

Pretty Good, located right off a main highway. I stop by anytime I’m in NJ, close to the Hotel in Newark. First time, I stopped in the Owner was there and had GREAT conversation, service and customer service and gave me a military discount. The second time I stopped in, owner was not there and the service wasn’t as pleasant. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the same. The Caucasian clerk told me I couldn’t get a military discount because he’s not the owner. Then proceeded to talk about Burger King and other fast food chains not giving discounts. The food didn’t taste as good the second time probably because the experience was icky.

Lamb gyro is amazing! Very addicting, we are are visiting from MN, & all we want to eat is this. We have 100’s of different place to eat around NY, but we wait to eat here!
