Tried New York Bagel for the first time in a long time. Went with an Iced Pistachio Lush. Thought it was okay. Had a breakfast sandwich as well. Went with an Asiago, bacon egg and cheese. Thought the bagel could have been toasted a little longer. Bacon wasn’t crispy. Overall the sandwich was okay. The chocolate chip muffins looked pretty good. May try them on a return trip.

Absolutely nothing gluten-free. In 2026, it’s not unreasonable to expect at least one or two inclusive choices for people with dietary restrictions. Offering gluten-free items is pretty standard at most places now, so it’s concerning that this hasn’t been addressed. A few months ago, I came here and asked if they had gluten-free options. Months later, nothing has changed. It feels like a missed opportunity to accommodate a wider range of customers.

My boyfriend and I went in to get a pizza bagel for me, as well as a dozen bagels for our family. The women behind the counter insisted they don’t have an oven and must heat my pizza bagel in a styrofoam container in the microwave. He also had intended of some of the bagels to be heated in the oven as well. The women told us they don’t have an oven.. if they don’t have an oven how were the bagels made to begin with? She was rude and had no respect. It’s disappointing as it’s our first time here. Won’t be returning. The atmosphere was good, but everything else was not. Again, will not be returning.

Im sad to say this spot was a disappointment unfortunately.
Pros: They have a drive thru which was convenient and fast but then again I was the only one at 6:25 am. They had orange juice.
Cons: Have you ever had a bagel with no salt in the dough? Maybe minimal is what it tasted like. The bagel was also mostly burnt which stinks because it changes the taste of the whole bagel. The sausage patty was much smaller than anticipated. As far as the egg- i wish I had checked if it really was two.
Buyers remorse really. It was $11-$12 that I wish I would have spent at DDonuts.

I went to New York Bagel and immediately noticed a very long line inside, with the drive-through also completely backed up. Upon walking in, the entire establishment was extremely smoky, likely from a burned bagel, making it uncomfortable and difficult to breathe.
I waited nearly 30 minutes for a simple bagel with cream cheese. It appeared that drive-through orders were being prioritized over customers inside, while the staff seemed overwhelmed and unsure of what was happening.
I also witnessed a customer being given the wrong order. That customer left, then returned the opened order to the counter. A staff member opened it again and attempted to give it to the correct customer, who understandably refused and asked for a fresh order. That response felt entirely appropriate given the situation.
Overall, I was very unimpressed with how things were handled, the long wait, and the lack of organization. Based on this experience, I will most likely not be returning.

New update .. I changed my review from 1 star to 5 , new staff and now it’s just like old times!!! Great bagels .great coffee!! Great everything!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ down below is before and after photos of a bagel from last year to the bagel I got today 2/13/25 .. new up date 05/13/2025 .. picture of bagel with cream cheese.. back to thin layers , not like the OG New York bagel . Disappointed! ☹️

1st timer …The dining seats were full of customers( a good sign), I wasn’t sure where to order at the long counter but a staff member greeted me, and took my order pretty quickly. 2x sandwiches and an OJ to go. I was in and out in less than 10 mins. Asiago bagel sandwiches for the win

This place seems to be falling apart. Ordered delivery and got a call they were out of stuff, no problem we gave them replacement options. Original order was chocolate chip bagel with butter, poppy seed with strawberry cream cheese, and chocolate chip muffin. After multiple calls and changing things around we were eventually told they were going to cancel our order and wanted us to redo it. The order was cancelled but then uncancelled and showed up at our house anyway completely wrong. Both bagels they said they didn’t have they in fact did have but they put the toppings on the opposite bagel (cream cheese on the chocolate chip and butter and jelly on the poppy seed) and even though we told them coffee cake as the replacement for the chocolate chip muffin they sent a blueberry one. With all the calls it sounded like chaos in there. This is becoming increasingly more of a problem with getting wrong things from here.

I used to LOVE NY bagel. I have been going there since it was in the original location a block or two away.
Now with new ownership they are open til 4pm every day, which should be a good thing. But, they may as well close at noon cuz the bagel stock is usually mostly empty.
Went there again today and kind get any of the bagels I like. I asked if there was more, clerk said no. I asked why is it always mostly empty by 1pm every week end. He says, oh people come in and buy a dozen or more.
Wow. No duh. So if this is happening Al the time…. I don’t know…. Uh, maybe make more?! Just a thought.
I then ordered a turkey sandwich on a bagel I didn’t want. I went to get chips but just like the bagels, I can’t get regular chips or salt and vinegar. All the unpopular ones are all that’s available.
Now I get my turkey sandwich but, par for the course… there is NO TURKEY in my turkey sandwich. How do you forget the ingredient that the sandwich is named after.
WOW. Instead of the new owners letting a bunch of teenagers run the show… maybe they should work the weekends and see the train wreck.

They put my order in a bag and forgot about it for 15 minutes. I went to remind them and they said “You haven’t gotten your food?” even though there was only one person at the drive-window. I only have trouble at this place on the weekend. This rating is for the weekend crew. The weekday crowd is generally very good.
