I have lived in New York for decades and always laughed at the bagels outside of New York and New Jersey. Then I ran into this little bagel cafe this morning. The bagels here have to be the best I have tasted in Florida. The prices are very affordable, and every team member is pleasant and efficient. The place is clean, tidy, and welcoming. No exaggeration.

Just stopped in for a bagel and cream cheese ($5.65)and absolutely LOVED EVERY LITTLE BIT of this place! It’s adorable and so aesthetically grounded in itself- this isn’t a trendy cafe and it’s sooooo much better for it. It smells so incredible in there, and the taste was just as great. Maybe the best veggie cream cheese I’ve ever had?? I do wish the prices were listed on the menu board, but it seems like everything is pretty reasonable. I will absolutely be back to try a sandwich, and highly recommend it to anyone in the area:)

I love coming here. I became a more frequent customer when my mom lived in the condos right behind here. This place is a legend. It’s been here forever. Friendly staff. The owner is usually there working amongst his staff. I love to get the lox bagel with chive cream cheese on an everything bagel. If it’s packed, which this place typically is due to popularity, we love to call ahead, grab it to go and stroll over to the park and eat there.

Great little place. I was in and out on a Sunday .morning at 9am within 10..minutes ..everyone WAS pleasant as per reviews. The sandwich was very good however I prefer a fried egg over medium to be a true NY bagel sandwich…Florida seems to have reinvented the liquid egg. All in all was a great experience and I will be back. The bagel itself was fantastic!

I’ve been coming here for 10 years and it never gets old. The staff is great, the food is delicious and comes with a comfty vibe you don’t get at big name bagel spots. Can’t beat it. I get a basic egg cheese and bacon on a plain bagel as my go to. French vanilla cream cheese on a blueberry egg bagel is delish too along with their lox bagel and I’m sure everything else.

As a 40 year New York City guy who loves bagels and has been looking for a good bagel spot for the 5 years I been here in Tampa, this is definitely a very good spot to go to. Yes the bagels were very good and fresh and the breakfast bacon egg and cheese was tasty but the bagels are very small and the sandwich was made very cheap maybe one egg, one slice of bacon and cheese. I wouldn’t even call it a sandwich that’s how small the bagel and portion in it was. I would have to have eaten 3 of them to be full when one BEC back home on a real sized NYC bagel does the job. Also because it’s so small the $7 price tag was a bit high, it should be $5 tops. They also don’t carry egg bagels which doesn’t make sense to me. However the service was amazing and the people were very nice and it’s a cute little bagel shop. I’ll definitely go back bc for Tampa the bagels are fresh and delicious but i will have to ask for 2 BEC’s next time to equal one NYC sandwich.
