We have been coming here for years. We always have family celebrations here and have never had a problem with making reservations for our big family. I called on Thursday June 1st to make a reservation for my sons birthday on the 2nd and the girl told me that they don’t make reservations for Friday nights because they are too busy to hold a table. Today June 10th I called the make a reservation for my husbands birthday for Sunday night. This time the girl told me that they don’t take reservations at all. Well sad to say El Bajio has lost our business. Our family is too big to sit and wait for a table. There are plenty of other restaurants willing to help us out. Bye-Bye!

Only 2 stars because the waitress was nice. We spent 44 dollars, not including tip. We got 2 chicken tacos and 3 flautas for that (ridiculous). It took 45 minutes after ordering to get my flautas. At first I wasn’t sure if she gave me chicken or beef flautas. It did not have any flavor, but about half of it was peppers. I tried to give it more flavor by adding the desert dry rice and watery refried beans on top, to no avail.

Louie, I have been going to your restaurant since the 1990’s and have supported you during the lean time’s as well as the good times. But since you have started not taking reservations I’m done. Walking in with a party of 11 and waiting for a seat because you won’t take reservations? I’m sorry you’re your restaurant isn’t that Great. Your cousins, Toledo’s, now has my patronage. West of 99 is a rough road for a restaurant, you might want to rethink your strategy. What a WASTE.

This is my lunch spot close to home. They have a great lunch special, 10 bucks for many different entrees to choose from. They are always fast and friendly.

I havent ate here in years but El Bajio is the “bombay”… Flavor town in ur mouth from all the delicious food they present. This restaurant roots come from the same family that used to have a successful restaurant downtown where the federal courthouse is at there used to be this one mexican restaurant that everbody and their babys dad were there… Remember??? Mama Luz was the one even the lawyers would be there. I was young but every so often when my grandparents would come from lenier ca…we would eat there and it was like a fiesta with different cultures all in one spot and way back in 2002-2004 its been along time but El Bajio has the same flare but more vibrant because its a smaller building but its more homier comfortable and like family. I chsllange anybody who hasnt eatin here to not over think it but enjoy the experience of quality Mexican food and good vibes. Andele. Ati…. lol. Respectfully.
