This has been a long time family favorite but lately the quality hasn’t been the same. My pepper steak had 4 tiny pieces of meat and the rest were peppers and onion. And my fried rice had no vegetables or egg.

The Governors chicken with fried rice is absolutely amazing! I recommend trying it for yourself. I tried to call in an order and no one ever answered the phone. Rode past but didn’t feel like waiting so I didn’t stop. Wasn’t very busy so not sure why phone wasn’t being answered. Nonetheless, I will be back for that yummy chicken and a spring roll.

I recently stumbled upon a gem of a Chinese restaurant called New Wong’s, and I am absolutely in love! The food is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and that’s saying something because I had a favorite spot for over 20 years, and New Wong’s just outshines them! The egg rolls are crispy but not greasy, and they’re packed with flavor. The owners, especially Lili, are so genuine and adorable, making you feel like you’re visiting an old friend. I’d driven past this place so many times without noticing it, but I’m so glad I finally stopped in. Plus, they have amazing plants inside that add such a cozy vibe! I also discovered a new favorite drink there—an amazing herbal tea in a red can that you just have to try!

Most people probably just order to take away. However, if they would only go in and see the more extensive menu that they have and sample some of those more elaborate items they would realize the quality of the food on offer. It is by far the highest quality Chinese food in northeast Ohio. The ambience could be improved in the restaurant but the food more than makes up for what you may be missing in that category. I can’t help myself from ordering more food than one can possibly consume in several meals. I just love to taste the various dishes and I certainly don’t mind the leftovers the next day (or more accurately a midnight snack).
