I went here on Thanksgiving day and it was open 10 AM – 9 PM. I went around 5 PM and it was pretty busy. It got less busy when we were done around 6 PM. We got scallion pancakes, spareribs in black bean sauce, braised pig’s hock in red bean curd paste, shrimp rice roll, salted egg yoke lava sesame balls, lotus paste buns, the salty lean pork and preserved egg congee, half a roasted duck, the dimsum platter for two. It cost around $102 before tax.

The best dish was the spareribs in black bean sauce. It was delicious. The seasoning and flavor was good, especially when hot, and the dish remained at a decent temperature the entire time. The braised pig’s hock in red bean curd paste was not the way I usually like it. It was tougher to eat. The rest were all good. Definitely good roasted duck and the dimsum platter came with surprisingly larger sizes of dim sum so that was a good surprise. The paste for the sesame balls was also delicious and oozed out of the ball.

Staff members can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Very welcoming and would definitely go again.

The Jasmine tea was also really good. I rarely drink tea, but this tasted like the tea that’s used in bubble tea. They give you tea, but it’s also $6.95. You get charged for that.

Best dimsum ever. Arrive early or at non-peak times to get a table. Windsor gets really busy. Love the choices of tea, puer or chrysanthemum. The rice rolls are the perfect texture, flavors clean, dimsum seasoned well! Attentive service and 3 kinds of hot sauce on the table. Whenever I’m visiting Boston, this place is a must!

We came at a very busy time but got seating at the bar. I haven’t been to a ton of dimsum spots but this is probably my favorite so far based on taste, quality, and number of options. Would go more often if we lived a lot closer.

I had a very disappointing first experience at New Windsor Dim Sum. I was dining solo, and despite that, they were out of a large number of items, which significantly limited what I could order and forced me to settle rather than choose intentionally. For an established dim sum restaurant, that alone is a problem.

What I did receive was mediocre at best. Dumplings were bland, textures inconsistent, and nothing stood out as particularly well executed. Even the tea, which should be a basic strength at any Chinese restaurant, was a disappointment—hot water with a paucity of tea leaves.

This place has been around for years, so I expected at least baseline competence. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet that standard, and I would not go out of my way to return. If you do go, keep in mind it is cash only.

Dim sum was ok. Pieces where bigger than I cared for. The plastic chop sticks didn’t help. The rice wraps are too thick and doesn’t give the refined taste they should be giving. The roast duck was also average.
Service was as expected: they’ve accommodated for extra sauce and boxed up the roast duck to-go as requested.
Atmosphere: lots of locals and Chinese speaking patrons. As most Chinese places, its lively and fairly loud. Nothing extravagant to speak of.

Fantastic spot for Sunday dim sum, absolutely worth the drive out to Quincy.

Really amazing service and friendly staff. Food comes out quickly and piping hot (don’t burn your tongue)!

We basically got one of everything on the dim sum menu and I wasn’t disappointed with any of it.

Great food, highly recommended for dim sum as well as some entree dishes that can be ordered from the menu. It was quite full when my friends and I visited, but we were able to be seated immediately since we were okay with sharing a table with another group. Would happily come visit again!

WOW.
This is the place for dim sum in all of Massachusetts.
Everything was delicious, even chicken feet (which normally I do not eat: if you haven’t had chicken feet before, try it here)
Cantonese friends showed me this place, telling me it was the best: they were right.
The tea is especially good: I had maybe 15 cups of it.
For 6 people, a lot of foot was only 115 dollars.
WORTH IT!

I had a very bad experience with this DIMSUM shop, when I gave the bill and paid, the two waiters asked me if I would tip them and I gave them an extra tip but they seemed to be unhappy. When they took the money with my tip, I saw the two of them had an attitude and badmouthed me in Chinese. I will never come back.

I love how this restaurant provides menu with the pictures of the food that we don’t have to guess what we order. Fast service, friendly staffs and at least they know basic English. Eating dim sum must be paired with hot tea. Taste of the food is just okay but not very special. Very limited parking, cash only payment, small place so you better prepare to queue on their busy hours are among the cons.
