This is a nice place for the locals to hang out and become a family. The new white swan is a restaurant not only a bar. The food that I had tried was buffet style fried chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and all the special Foods normally prepared on a buffet table. I’m very picky and the food tasted pretty good 🙂 I was very pleased with the friendly service and how comfortable being in this place actually made me feel even though it was a sad day for the loss of my uncle Sonny Jackson. My uncle had considered this place his home and had wanted us to gather the rest of our family and most of his friends to celebrate his life!

The food is always great. Dottie is a treasure.
My only problem is that I leave smelling like old grease. There’s probably poor ventilation in the kitchen, and the doors to the rest of the establishment aren’t helping.
Worth it.
Go eat some great food, have a good time, and take a long shower.

Smelled like old cigarette smoke. Cream of crab was brown and borderline fishy, french onion was light and flavorless. Server was nice and service was overall quick. Just let down by the quality of atmosphere and food in such an expensive place to live.
I really had higher expectations from other’s reviews. I tend to rate higher than my experience generally because people and places have off days….but this was between 1 and 2pm on a Sunday and the only other people were a large party in the dining room that left because they were cold and a couple at the bar. I couldn’t rate on a curve for this experience. Hope they do better as they are the first eatery/bar once you drive through the expanse of trees. Essentially welcoming you to Millers Island.
If this wasn’t a one off experience and was a typical Sunday….I don’t know how they remain open with the likes of Dock of The Bay down the street.

Nice atmosphere. Good seafood, fairly priced beer, friendly service. There’s a small/medium sized dining area separate from the bar. The bar doesn’t have beer on tap but a good selection of bottles and small liquor shelf. There is a nice pool table area off to the side away from everything. Also a touch tunes jukebox!

Been here several times for lunch. The atmosphere is casual neighborhood bar with restaurant seating as well. The restaurant side has little decoration on the walls but that’s not an issue for me. The comfort food served here is well prepared and fresh. Personally, I think they have the best hot turkey and hot beef platters. The meat is cut thin from a roast and turkey, not lunch meat, but Sunday dinner quality. There are several specials on Sunday and through the week to choose from. The prices is reasonable and portions large. The service is great, friendly and personable. Take a ride to Millers Island and hang a right just past the park, I dont think you’ll be disappointed.

This is my favorite local place to get a good meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive to my wife and I. The prices are good and they have craft beer ( Key Brewing Rye Porter is my favorite). I would definitely recommend this place to others! There are no strangers here, just people you have not met yet.

I love this joint, The owners are pretty engaged and always ready to help. The food is always good and Brian is always ready to do a little extra or something a bit different, if you ask. Dottie makes a mean drink behind the bar, and they have a few high end bourbons if you fancy a pour or and Old Fashioned.

Brilliant food, the lady who served us was incredibly sweet and personable. We stopped by for lunch while traveling for work and were not in the least disappointed. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time, the stuffed mushroom caps were exquisite. I very much recommend this restaurant

Family owned, great food, extensive menu, good prices. Separate dining room from bar area, pool table, juke box, TV’s. “No strangers here, just friends you haven’t met”. Dotty and Brian are the best!
