We visited New Wave Seafood as a family of five and had a fantastic experience. None of us ordered our usual go-to dishes—we all tried new varieties of seafood, and everything was absolutely delicious.

The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, especially with our sons. They took the time to explain different types of fish and helped guide them toward options they might enjoy, which made the experience both fun and educational.

The restaurant itself was spotless, the service was warm and welcoming, and every interaction felt genuine. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Highly recommend if you’re looking to try something new in a clean, friendly, family-oriented environment.

Really impressed by this place! There is a fresh fish market in the front and a small restaurant to the side with sit down service. We tried it out on a lent Friday and it was packed! After a short wait we were seated and after the perusing the extensive menu there were so many things that sounded delicious and worth trying. This time around we sampled the grilled octopus appetizer (delicious and cooked perfectly), the clams oreganata appetizer (small clams but amazing taste) and the Maryland crab cakes entree as well as the scallops entree. The scallops were buttery soft and the most fresh I have ever tasted. My Husband loved his crab cakes and they were HUGE! We will definitely be back, so many things I want to try next!

We’ve been coming to New Wave Seafood for years. My favorite item on the menu is the fried shrimp boat. The shrimp are crunchy and delicious and taste exactly the same every single time we come here and the tartar sauce great! Their Sangria is delicious as well. You can buy it by the glass or the picture. They have a full fresh, seafood store up front where you can purchase items to take home and cook yourself or even prepared meals. I always look forward to our lunches or dinners at New Wave Seafood

Fantastic service and perfect portions. 10/10 experience. New Wave came highly recommended by a fellow foodie friend and did not disappoint. We ordered Seafood Medley linguini with white sauce (comes hot or mild and with red sauce as an option too) and Sea Scallops with choice of two sides. Food was delicious and FRESH. We thoroughly enjoyed both dishes equally and left no crumbs. Can’t wait to be back for more!

Chili chowder was really great. Full of fresh fish. Fish tacos were also very good. Got the double lobster roll without the bun and it was okay. For $38 would have liked to have had more big chunks of tail meat. This is a restaurant that is attached to a retail seafood store.

My first time now I never went before I do not eat seafood, but I got steak and it tasted like fish. My Caesar salad had ancho in it. I was so nauseous when I got home. I will never go back my friend who got fish said his tasted weird we both had a horrible time although the waitress was wonderful.
She’s been there a couple of times in the past couple of years and she said she won’t go back. I don’t understand if somebody doesn’t eat fish. The steak was obviously touched with fish. It just tasted disgusting. The steak at Texas roadhouse is better.

Artichoke sole was very flavorful and done perfectly, stuffed salmon was very nicely stuffed not skimpy at all and again done perfect. Delicious Sangria!! Very nice staff too. A+
UPDATE: 2nd visit again staff was great, octopus special appetizer unfortunately fell short for me(under seasoned and skin was slimy) dinner was 2 crab stuff lobster tails (very good) and the gorgonzola crusted swordfish this was very good but too much cheese that it overpowered, alittlw gorgonzola goes along way. Key lime for dessert was very good.
