Very quick service. Friendly atmosphere. My Chicken Fajita Nachos was hot and excellent. My husband had Pollo Picasso and said it was perfect.

We went there today for the first time with our friend who said this was her favorite Mexican restaurant. It did not disappoint! The salsa and chips were very good, weren’t hot at all, so if you like non-spicy salsa, this would be perfect for you. I got the Steak Nachos, which I haven’t ordered from a Mexican restaurant since I was a kid. They were veeeryyy good, and the steak was very tasty. My boyfriend got the Lunch fajitas with chicken and the chicken was sooo good! We loved the fajitas. We’ve never had Zucchini and Squash served with our fajitas before, but honestly, it was surprisingly tasty. Service was a bit slow, but the servers were also super sweet, so we were understanding. They also had some tasty little candies at the front desk that I haven’t had before, but I loved them. Overall, good experience. Food tasted good, our servers were sweet, and the atmosphere was nice. We will be back again!

There’s not a whole lot of places I go out to but I do enjoy hitting this place up pretty often. Great bar with a great assortment of good drinks and great food. Really friendly and welcoming service too. Definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant around.

Short version… Food is delicious, top-notch imo. Service was not good at all. I would say “rude” which I’ve seen in a couple other reviews, but distracted, uncaring, and making us feel like we were an inconvenience would about sum up the service. Really got the feeling that this is one of those places where the management, owner(s), and select few may care about customer service but the wait staff and the people that actually deal with the customers feel like the customers are a nuisance and life would be better without them. We go greeted and seated quickly because the place was about empty. So far, so good. After being seated we had time to look through the impressive menu of delicious food, including items you don’t see much on any of the local Mexican menus. There are some authentic looking items and more deserts than I’ve ever seen at a Mexican eatery around here. Still so far, so good. Then we sat and sat. Had time to discuss what we were interested in having, time to read the descriptions of what we were considering, time to discuss many things. No drinks. No chips. No nothing. We were at 1 of the 3 tables with customers at this point. If I was a people person we could have gotten to know the people at the other 2 tables. We had time to admire the artwork, which I did like. Anyway… service was slow. People in the back. We saw them back there. We heard them talking. They ignored us all. So… blah blah blah…. super slow, I asked what was good and was told “Ehh… anything.” Shouldn’t wait staff have a standard recommendation in mind for customers that are a little overwhelmed with a thick menu and no idea about the place? Maybe that’s just me. No point deduction there. Big point deduction for the fact that they seem to make it a habit of serving anyone at the table whatever is ready while others wait for theirs to be ready. Having the food for a table come all at once, hot, and ready is standard for a reason and bringing one person’s food in one trip then someone else’s food 15 minutes later is completely unacceptable. As a matter of fact, I’m scrolling back up to remove another star. Rating a place 2 stars when the food was delicious is crazy, but that’s what happens when you make customers wait too long in an uncrowded restaurant before at least taking their drink orders, behave impatient and as if you wish the customers would just go away, never offer refills on the drinks, bring the chips and one entrée at the same time, and the other entrée 15 minutes later… umm… I think that’s enough ranting. Was that a rant? Maybe. I’ve had time to get over it, but as I typed it came rushing back. But… the food is very very tasty. If I lived closer I’d probably find myself trying to eat here occasionally because of the good food, then remembering why I don’t go once a week.

I really don’t want to leave a bad review :(. I keep ordering here and they always forget something or there’s an issue. The queso I ordered too was incredibly bland . Sorry ya’ll I just had a really bad experience.

Unexpected excellent Mexican food in this little roadside restaurant. Doesn’t look very fancy from the outside but pretty good food and beer inside. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It is great to have a good Mexican Resturant in this community. The service great and quality of food is as good if not better than anything for 25 minutes drive. Plenty of room for large groups and good for families. Decor is fresh and typical. Salsa is a 9.5 on my personal scale. Chips are 5.
This will be a regular goto lunch near work. Now there is no need to drive to another town to get good Mexican food. Yum!!
