We waited a few minutes at lunch time on a Sunday. We ordered crispy noodle and fried taro with egg and peanuts. The crispy noodle arrived first. I think I prefer a bit more sauce so the crispy noodle can soak it in. The fried taro was a great comfort food. Service was efficient.

The spicy beef sate rice sticks are fenomenal. All rice cake noodles are great, authentic, very flavory. Everything came in large portions and we couldn’t finish three plates between the three of us. We definitely want to go back!

Rarely do I goto noodle houses like this but went with a friend today.
Flavors were pretty good and size was solid as well. Can’t say anything was bad and it was above my expectations.

Pricing is also quite fair for the portions so worth a try.

Opinion Worth a Thought
Great value for the price with minimal service in a cafeteria-like environment

2-3 stars objectively but I want to put 4 stars for memories. You’ve been here; you know it; it’s exactly the same. This location is cleaner and faster than in Mountain View.

If you’ve never been, it’s big cheap fast and crowded. Mostly Mexicans who call it Chinese, but it’s Vietnamese. Dishes are mostly dough, some meat, and rarely any vegetables. It’s not very good food or dining experience but it’s comfortable.

I’d recommend the taro fried dough with egg (warning contains peanut!) Or rice noodle soups. We always get a couple pounds of frozen meatballs and a cup of orange juice when we pay. It’s the only reason we come anymore.

Used to be $6 before the pandemic, but now it’s $12 for a bowl.

Really clean location, attentive staff, and the food comes out quick. Scary quick. Every time I order here, food is on my table in 5 minutes. I’ve eaten at the Gilroy location for years and now come here after moving. This location is way better with service and food quality.
Highly recommend #1 (soup) and #21 (chow fun) for newcomers. The broth is super light and filling for both summer and winter days. Veggies and meats are fresh too.

The Combination Rice Stick Soup (#1) was a tasty mix of meats. The soup base was a bit mild, but the chili sauce and jalapeno on the table added a delicious kick.

I ordered the Spicy Beef Sate Rice Stick with Peanut to go (#2). It had a rich sate flavor without being too spicy. If you want more heat, just add their chili sauce.

The Combination Chow Fun (#21) had a satisfying mix of chicken, pork, prawns, and veggies. Although I usually prefer noodle soup, this dry noodle dish impressed me with its delicious flavors.

I tried the Fried Daikon Flour Cake with Egg and Peanut (#29) for the first time. The crispy, flaky exterior of the flour cake paired perfectly with the soft inside. The daikon and fried egg combo provided a delightful texture and taste.

The restaurant is in a busy plaza with ample parking, making it convenient. The staff were friendly and quick at cleaning tables, ensuring a swift seating process. Despite a possible wait, we were seated within 3-5 minutes after putting our names on the waitlist.

Had soup noodles on Friday lunch outdoors. Prices are good. Service was friendly. The mall has a good size parking lot although one might not be able to park very close. The noodle soups tasted good. Liked the broth being clear and not oily. Didn’t care for the fried pork pieces in the soup though. Most ingredients seemed fine. A good lunch experience. Recommended.

It’s good that they separated each seated by plastic panels. Food is okay. I ordered No 8 house noodles with soup separated as I usually ordered. The soup tasted weaker than the same order I did at Milpitas store. They use the china for the noodles. It makes the meal sounds worth with that price.
