Sweet & Sour chicken was sliced thin chicken chips of some sort. The taste was mostly bread crumb with leather like chicken chews inside. I threw it out after 3 bites.

New Tokyo provides an enjoyable hibachi dining experience with interactive chefs. The Wok&Grill menu leans towards sweeter flavors, which might not appeal to everyone. The hibachi dishes, while consistently cooked, could be elevated with more complex flavor combinations. A wider range of sauces or seasonings could enhance the overall taste experience.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt I had to. This place is disgusting, and I honestly don’t know how they are allowed to operate in such filth. The hibachi station was absolutely filthy—I feel sick just thinking about it.
We waited about 1.5 hours to be seated, which I understood since it was New Year’s Eve, so I tried to stay positive and thought maybe the food would be worth it. It was not. The food was overcooked, flavorless, and extremely disappointing.
What really pushed me over the edge was what we witnessed afterward during the “cleaning” of the hibachi station. They reused the same dirty water from another station, and the rag they were using was black from how filthy it was. It was revolting.
On top of all that, their prices are high—for what? This experience was completely unacceptable. Do not waste your money here.

So surprising for me. I’ve been here many times for their great Teppan Yaki (hibachi).
Their other food choices were superb…..
And service was attentive and friendly…
Excellent.

Brought the grandkids as they’ve never been to a hibachi and they loved it! They were quite entertained watching the food being cooked (they’re toddlers). Honestly, the food could have been seasoned more as it felt like it was missing something. The miso soup just tasted like bland broth with nothing in it. We’ll give it another shot though.

New year’s eve night. Booked a reservation for 6 PM. Waited for over an hour. Asked the hostess why other people are being seated and the hostess was bewilderingly rude, saying “that’s the way it is” and “It’s just dinner”. Extremely unprofessional and the owners should be ashamed of the service provided especially on a holiday. Reservation not required because it won’t matter anyway lmfaoo.

Found out today you can get their delicious Hibachi dinners without the show (which the show is awesome, but when you’ve seen it multiple times it’s gets a bit old, especially if you just want a one-on-one dinner, but still super fun!) Food is delicious as always. The hibachi rice and Fillet minion are to die for!! Also just tasted the yum-yum sauce for the first time today and it was delicious! Highly recommend!

We had a New Tokyo door dash for New Years Eve. The food was excellent, the best they have made for us. Veggie fried rice was delicious.
