We love this place so much!!!

We vacation here, every year, from WA. This is at the top of our list of places to eat. We always get the tika masala, “whatever is like butter chicken” and the garlic naan.

The naan is so good-heavy on the garlic. So, if you’re planning on mouth-to-mouth later… Maybe hold off the garlic.

Portion sizes are great! What a good bang for your buck. And they seem to be open every day even in winter, which is not always the case for food places on the north coast. Always got to plan a stop here on the way to or from Tillamook

Came in to town late on a Friday and this was the first place we spotted still open. We stopped and put in for a takeout order. Took about 15 minutes to get our food.

We got chicken and lamb kormas, an order of samosas, and tried the channa masala. Overall, it was pretty good. The channa (chickpeas) were probably the fan favorite. The samosas were pretty soft and just not super well seasoned. The kormas were both good, but the rice was pretty plain.

So, all that to say, we were totally satisfied with our meal! Fair prices for portions and rather quick for takeout. But any aficionados for Indian cuisine may find this a bit lack luster.

Three people working and not a single person acknowledged customers waiting at the window. After standing around for a little while, someone had to grab their attention by yelling loud enough for one of them to hear. My wait time after placing my order was 20 minutes, but, ended up waiting longer than that—which I thought was ridiculous for an order of chicken biryani (they had lots of to-go orders on their end).

Their chicken biryani was bit too bland for my liking, I enjoy eating Indian food and I’m familiar with the cuisine. Spice level was medium—but, it had a kick to it. The container they use were incredibly thin, and definitely isn’t microwave safe.

Overall experience wasn’t the greatest for me. Lots of good reviews—maybe, I came on the wrong night. I’ll stick to Indian restaurants I am familiar with.

Update: 09/27/2025 (3 days later)

I came back to try this place again, and I still didn’t like it. Service was still horrible. I ordered a lamb biryani wrap and got a rice bowl. I’m never coming back here again.

We’re locals and we come here once a week! So grateful to have delicious Indian food on the North Oregon Coast. The Channa Goa Curry is our favorite vegetarian option (like butter chicken with chickpeas instead), the samosas are crave-worthy, and the lamb is tender and delicious. After a walk on the beach, we can place our order, sit at the covered tables outside, and it’s ready to go before we’ve finished a game of travel cribbage!

If you like Indian food then don’t pass this place by just because it’s a food truck because you will be disappointed for sure.
The Pakoras were amazing and a killer deal at just $7 for a to go container filled to the top. The veggie wrap was enormous and turned out to be way more than I could eat in one sitting (not to mention it was also delicious ).

Its a food truck so you can kinda guess the atmosphere.
The guy that took our order had kind of a mean look on his face but he was kind and I assume it was more of a cultural thing than a personal slight.
As for the food? Oh my gosh it was so good! I got the chicken biryani and my husband got the chicken curry. Idk what authentic tastes like but to me this was it. We were NOT disappointed

Amazing Indian food! Tasty lassis, both mango and sweet, with cardamom and rose water! Yum! My chicken tikka masala was lovely, I ordered mine mild and it was perfect! My husband had the jalfeze with lamb, and my oldest had the mutter paneer. All super tasty! We also had garlic naan, and vegetable pakora. Lots of outdoor seating!

It’s a food truck. We ordered at the truck and just waited. The wait was maybe 10 minutes, not bad at all.
The food was really good. Just and FYI, medium heat is pretty spicy. So I’m sure the hot is really hot! So be warned lol.
We got chicken Marsala, nan bread and samosas. All were fantastic. I couldn’t stop eating until I was stuffed!

We had been wanting to try this food truck for a while now, and finally got to on Sunday on our way through Rockaway Beach. Better than I had hoped! The samosas were great, as most fried things are.. but the saag paneer was soooooo yummy! Stop! Take time! Try them! Thank you, Taste of India!
