Love new tai pei, I have never had a bad experience here. We always order a ton of sushi, probably $150 worth two times a month. The presentation is gorgeous, I’m very confident when I order sushi for my guests. I order other food too, typical Chinese stuff and it’s always amazing. I’m attaching a photo, unfortunately we already ate a bunch of it before the photo but notice he heart shaped sushi!! These people are amazing. Of note, they did screw up an order a few weeks ago, sent white rice vs portal fried rice but they corrected it with a smile . I don’t understand the bad reviews on here, anyway love love love new tai pai, it’s our go to!

Where do I begin. The food is awful and after a look around back I know why. The pictures are of the oil drums of the oil from this restaurant. The restaurant does not even follow basic food safety standards. The staff here awful.

We order from here about 4 times a year and are never disappointed! As vegetarians, options are often limited but not here! It’s never a problem to substitute tofu for any meat options. It’s also easy to request a meal be made more mild or spicy. We strongly recommend New Taipei!

I ordered a lunch special with general tso chicken & fried rice. I asked if I could please have the rice on a separate plate so it’s not soaked in sauce, and the waitress said NO, you can’t separate the chicken and rice on separate plates. I said that I don’t like my fried rice to be soaked with the general chicken sauce. She said “no”, you must order separate fried rice dish. I changed my order and the California roll was just ok. I will not return.
