If you like walking in a cloud of cigarette smoke and overpriced drinks, this is your spot! This spot has always been kind of dumpy (as you would expect from your local dive bar) but they used to at least have cheap drinks. After visiting recently, their drinks are extremely overpriced.

Local and historic pub on the corner of New and North Street in Bethlehem, Pa. Lots of space, low key, owner is attentative. Best attribute is its rich history. Ask the owner about it! Pretty amazing. Food also available here and is smoke friendly.

The 2024 Bethlahem bar crawls was a scam this year ! Paid $20 entry fee that was paid in advance . Arrived at the bar location at 8pm . The gentleman that greeted us said there was no discounted drinks, no others bars involved yet it’s called “BETHLEHEM BAR CRAWAL “ , no wristbands given out as advertised, . It was a total joke!! Filing for a refund ! I will not attend again

Way better than anticipated. George the bar tender is real cool and chill. Prices are the lowest in the Valley. Area isn’t the best but overall safe. Parking isn’t the best but there are some spots. Out of the 5 times I’ve been there, there’s been a regular that is incredibly annoying and brings up politics and religion and being an overall jerk. Avoid him and have a great time.

Both major bartender’s are very nice and nosey. They love listening in . Prices are expensive. Joe’s pitchers are cheaper and bigger pitchers. Jukebox works. Food takes a half hour even for a simple burger. The pool tables are nice if the owners DECIDE to open the room and HATE giving change for there pool room! The only problem is getting someone to open the pool room. Owner didn’t feel like doing to much or opening the pool room. The roaches are the main concern.The only reason I went here was for the pool room. Guess I gotta go to Jabberjaws for my new bar with a pool table?

Horrible experience. Had it out with the owner which I did respect but his bathrooms had vomit and piss on the woman’s bathroom floor since Wednesday and when I asked why it wasn’t cleaned by Sunday I got yelled at and kicked out the Bar cause he was embarrassed. I am a woman sticking up for other woman patrons who spend money to at least use a clean restroom. I don’t think I should have been screamed at by the owner to get out because I called him out about it. The owner is a nice person but apparently doesn’t care about his cleanliness.

Nice corner bar, a comfy place to grab a few beers with friends. Has touchtunes jukebox, 2 pool tables, and they can even sell cigarettes. New St has been more popular with the smoking crowd since Joe’s is no longer smoking.
