Update and not good: on 2/1/26 I placed an order and I paid for bagels with 2 eggs not one and both only had 1. So now not only do I have to open up the bag there because items are missing, I have to open up each wrapped item to make sure I am getting what I paid for??? I should not have to. Please do better. It literally reads on the screen what employees are making.
I come here every week, usually only complain about long waits even when I order ahead, show up later and still not done. Well today I showed up at exactly 1pm on a Tuesday and they were closed. They have posted signs saying closing is 1:30. I usually order ahead, this time I didn’t and good thing I didn’t. No one bothered to look at the door. I had customers inside telling me it’s closed. Why? So you’re telling me you’re so backed up that you just close 30 minutes earlier? Can you not be adults and just be honest with customers instead of just deciding to close? Under new management?? Please do better, you have lots of customers willing to consume, losing them over this? Crazy to me.

The everything bagel with cream cheese was great (9/10)! The hash browns were awful (2/10), and their new Country Gravy Egg bagel was okay (5/10).

Got a dog bagel for my dog & it was ROCK solid. I couldn’t even break it in half! Who would sell that stone and try to pass it off as a “dog treat”. Also, I went back in to ask if it was intended to be that hard & they locked their doors 10 minutes before closing. Do better.

This branch location is absolutely Nothing like the one in San Diego. In person, beginning with the female customer service person at the cash register, exhibits no personality/ did not exhibit friendliness/ didn’t witness a smile at any of the customers. Additionally, regarding health and safety food handling, cashier literally went from physically handling money to handling food without washing hands just putting on a pair of flimsy gloves.
Bagles did not taste fresh, I was very disappointed in the bagle quality its as though they weren’t freshly baked. Better Bagles that taste fresh can be purchased at the grocery stores for less. I witnessed the person toasting the Bagles take out burnt ones.
The atmosphere/service going into this Einstein Bros. Bagles Perris, California location is more like construction workers in a remote location with no other choices whereas catacorner across the parking lot area there’s a Walmart.

I’ve tried this location on different times of the day, morning and afternoon. And the service is bad, I always order by mobile app, but what’s the point? Food is never ready. I always arrive after the pick up time that’s given, and Same issue. Today, there was one gentleman making food and one gentleman sweeping the lobby, and I wasn’t even acknowledged, not even a smile. I ask if my order was ready, and was told just 2 more minutes, which was more like 15 minutes. The store was not busy, only 1 other customer waiting. There’s never a sense of urgency, or speed by the employees. The food is always good, which is why I come back. With a huge sign that reads “Under New Management” I hope changes are made for the better.

Ordering ahead was supposed to save time, but instead I waited 45 minutes past the pickup time for a simple takeout order. There was no apology, no explanation, and no sense of urgency—just standing around wondering why I bothered ordering in advance at all. If you can’t handle basic order timing, don’t offer pre-ordering.
To make matters worse, the cook forgot to put cream cheese on the bagels—which is kind of the entire point. Paying full price for bagels due to careless mistakes is unacceptable. Slow service is one thing, but sloppy execution on top of it makes this place hard to return too.

Alright, so first, the staff have hella attitude. This is the 6th time Ive come here and they are always out of the bagels I want. Ive been here early and they dont have much, Ive been here later, and they dont have much. And they should use utensils when grabbing the egg,bacon, ingredients. They use the same dirty gloves for it all. Cross contamination. And to add to this. They gave me the wrong bagel. I ordered an avocado veg out, not the garden avocado egg.

I doordashed a dozen everything bagels and a sandwich and both were disappointing. First off, all the bagels were undercooked…it’s like they were a very light color, no salt on the everything bagels, and too dense, like they didn’t have time to rise…like the cooking process was rushed or something. On top of that, a bakers dozen is supposed to have 13 bagels, and we only received 12. We recently moved from OC and love Einsteins, but this location was not up to standard with the bagels. So disappointed.

Worst service ever I ordered my food at 9:12 for pickup at 9:30. I arrived at the store at 9:26 and every one that made an order after I arrived received their food before me. I sat there until 10:06. The worker did not even call out my order just sat it behind some boxes they had in the pick up area. They are so slow and inattentive a customer walked up moved the uboxes and took the food that was there. I had not come in since early last year for this reason and had renewed hope with the new management sign. This was an epic fail. Workers very nonchalant and when I express my issues.
