A solid 3 star experience. Saw this place recommended on instagram for their noodles. Also lesson learned- cannot take recs from insta because everyone has different taste. Its mediocre food at a cheap price. Peanut butter noodles were OK. Not much flavor, but what do you expect for 3.5?

A very plain and no-nonsense restaurant. Food was okay. Service was okay. The atmosphere is a little run down. A little hard to order if you don’t speak Chinese. Parts of the menu don’t have English at all. Worth a stop if you’re into getting some quick simple foods that happened to be in English on the menu.

For those in the know, he makes coastal Fujian province dishes. get a soup , a veggie and a steamed fish dish. It’s the highlight to my trips to NY. Owner/chef looks cranky but is actually a sweetheart.
