Yes it was valentine’s day went with the family and the food was great the service from our waitress was beyond good. She was actually terrible. Ella A was just terrible l. Other waitress I seen was great. Asked for melted butter. Came back with butter packets. Put on the table and walked away with us not even able to ask a word and why it’s not melted. Gave us the check, wife said thanks and her words was yep. Think her favorite word cause that was said alot when we was polite and said thank you and it was, yep. Food was really good but our waitress. Not so good. Sorry Ella A but not good

I enjoyed my visit very much. They were slammed, and the servers were working their tails off. They still managed to be friendly and helpful. I had a ribeye with a baked potato and side salad. The steak was super tender and very juicy. I really enjoyed it. The server apologized for everything being slow and thanked me for my patience, but I was in and out in about 40 minutes. That’s pretty darn good for almost every table being full. I had not visited the restaurant in close to 40 years, but I’ll be back again.

Stopped in for lunch with the wife. Quick service, even though they were short handed. Steaks, salad, and fries were great. Looking forward to going back.

Really great food. We always enjoy finding the off the beaten path diners on our travels. I would recommend this as a great stop for good food. Eat in the main dinning room to avoid the loud drunk son.

we tried The tenderloins at the new Ross steakhouse in New Ross Indiana. they were better than we expected. nice thickness to them nice breading though a bit salty. the grilled had a slight beefy taste. nothing special on the fries and the cole slaw was basically soup. 4 star. if you get carryout check your order. they forgot our coleslaw. and they season the fries which they said they wouldn’t.

When you want a big hunk of good prime rib, potato and salad but don’t want to dress up or pay a huge bill. This is the place. A friendly restaurant that is unpretentious. Good food cheap. Just be kindly reminded, like it says at the top of the menu, cash only. Where else can you get a simple glass of cabernet wine for 3.50! Don’t look for fancy dry aged beef that has been massaged by maidens…this is back to the basics good basic cuts cooked right. Hope to return soon to try the filet…. then the sirloin….

Worst experience we’ve had, in 20 years of coming here. We’ve not been here in over a year, due to the previous bad service and mediocre food, but thought maybe it was just a one time ordeal, so we decided to try it again. Tonight, the service was awful. Forgotten drinks, forgotten salads, no refills. Our steaks were very strange. Almost appeared boiled? Very light in color, no sear marks, oily, and extremely fatty. (We ordered medium well)
Our son had a bacon cheeseburger that he said was “ok”, but it was dry, and his fries were overcooked. We avoided complaining and have opted to never come back. $115 for 2 adult steak meals, and a bacon cheeseburger, that SUCKED.

Server was great, but 1 of our meals were brought and some time later we were informed that our other 2 meals were taken to the wrong guest. It was compensated but was there almost an hour b4 the rest of food was brought out.

Small town Excellence. Rustic old school setting blends well with the outstanding food and service. Nostalgic bar area unchanged in many years.

Great relaxed atmosphere. The staff provides top notch service! Ribye is really good, shrimp cocktail was great. The Combo appetizer platter was delicious. The onion ring alone are with a trip. Two in the party got the prime rib and were not impressed. The prices are very competitive for the quality.
